To flash the mod kernel you need to EXTRACT the file inside the ZIP and flash the kernel with the flash tool (NOT TWRP!!!!!). You can flash the KERNEL ONLY (= no data loss)

use the reset pin to switch off the tablet
connect the tablet via USB to the PC
open the flash tool
simultaneously press power AND volume+ for a while
wait until "RKloader found" on the flash tool on PC
try flashing another kernel (ONLY THE KERNEL and WITHOUT ERASING IDB)
You probably need a kernel with higher voltages like the stock (try to flash the "kimmen" version that is the one that will work for SURE)
NOTE: remember to extract the kernel before select kernel to be flashed!!!!if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

Individual CPUs don't all have identical performance / stabillity which is why Giouncino gives us a few to try for each rom version. I haven't tried them all but usually use the one labelled "claro" which gives an extra 1000 points on Antutu or +5% with respect to stock.

My M6 Pro Wifi was never 100% stable until I installed that, and I'm still using RR1.4!!!
If you do upgrade to RR1.8, giouncino has kindly done a version of the '825' kernel for that ROM.
