    kernel selection

    Hello

I'm using the low voltage V2 version and my tablet is very stable - no issues. It depends on the cpu quality you get, if you are lucky you can get one that handles the low voltage and gets the best performance.

My M6 Pro Wifi was never 100% stable until I installed that, and I'm still using RR1.4!!!

If you do upgrade to RR1.8, giouncino has kindly done a version of the '825' kernel for that ROM.

        Low Voltage V2

Thats awesome. I really think this is a solid kernel, that has me shaking my head how long the battery lasts!

        Regards,

I flashed riley 1.8 kitkat on my M6 pro and the very low kernel. It was unstable and either froze or switched itself off at random. Reflashed kernel with claro one and seems to be running really smoothly so far. Nice one...

            kernel pipo m6 pro kitkat

The default kernel in kitkat 1.8 still works best in that sense he can "sometimes" a few days to work and then black screen and boot. I have already used the kernels of # 480, but I do not usually start, and if they then start after a few minutes of boot freeze.
            Are there any other kernels?

              what custom Kernel ....

Is there a way to check what custom kernel is flashed on m6pro? ..... after flashing a custom one the kernel version in settings remains as 3.4.0 york@mid-Porsche Thu Feb 13 10:03:19 CST 2014.

You probably have a not lucky CPU.
Try the "kimmen" one, it should work well for you

Use same tool you used to flash ROM but only tick kernel

thanks for your reply ... that's exactly what I'm doing but ....... i just can't see what I'm doing wrong.

                        1. open flash tool
                        2. reboot to flash mode
                        3. check kernel and browse to custom kernel
                        4. flash rom

                        ???????

OK, that's right but then you should see the log on the right side of the tool complete successfully and the tablet reboot? Did you extract the kernel zip to use the img?

yes ... yes ... yes ..... this is getting ridiculous ......

must "USB debugging" in Developers option have to be checked or not? ... can't think of anything else.

                              no usb debug.

But the flash tool say that flashing has been performed properly or not?

                              Now I understood!!!!

You WILL NOT SEE ANY DIFFERENCE IN KERNEL VERSION!!!

Using Antutu you will see the increased performances

You don't need USB debugging checked. If your tablet is still booting ok run CPU spy app to check kernel
