Because i bet you flashed my ota over stock fw.

For some reason the box (Tanix x4 4gb 64gb) is not being detected in windows, when its starting it triggers a device recognition but after it enters recovery nothing shows up, i tried on 2 different pcs one with windows 11 and one with windows 10, i tried looking for more drivers but i found the same one its being installed by the tool

I even tried on another computer but it didn't work. After a lot of searching I found a generic driver that worked and was able to burn the firmware as Amlogic USB Burning Tool v3.2.0. (if anyone needs the driver I'll post the link here)

It's working but with use it has errors (bugs) that it didn't have with the firmware that came with Tanix X4. I downloaded the firmware (Tanix_X4_s905x4-20220620) from more than 5 different locations but they are all exactly the same.

I noticed that my Tanix is the Tanix 4X PRO (see photo below). The firmware must have some difference from the version without PRO.

If anyone has a link to download the firmware, I would appreciate it!

please can you provide the drivers i wasnt able to get it connected to a pc that recognized it i even made my own cable and both the bought one and mine do the same thing take the device as a usb download gadget

I have the same unit and looking for the original Firmware in case if I need to reinstall.
(I found one on a Russian website but, not sure if it's the original image)
Also, is there a TWRP recovery for it? I would like to get a backup of the box.
Last question: How can I enable original "navigation bar" and "status bar"

well i do not have the original fw, you need to search it.
And dunno if anyone as a twrp backup.
And no you cant enable the navigation bar and status bar on the ATV build, if you want that use the "Normal" build that i also did!

How can I create my own fw? Are there any videos or any information/knowledge you can provide to get me started on?

Well i dont know of any videos or docs out there about how you can do that.
It all depends on what you want to do, if you a programmer and do not have afraid of biiiiggggggg projects then go for Linage OS (https://github.com/Amlogic-Lineage) or even AOSP!

on that s905x4 box i think you stuck on what you have!!
The s905x3 one yes you can try it but remember there is always a chance that might brick your device, so be warned!
