There a few versions of that one but since your already at stock we can jump ahead

Download neomode rom from here and unzip to a folder.

Find the driver folder and the driver for your version of windows.
There should be three files write click on each tell you see install and then do so.

Now go insto the rkdeveloptool folder and double click on rkandroidtool

    The tool should open

Plug the usb cable into the computer

Now the tricky part.. use a paper clip or the like to press the small buttion down in the hole on the side.
As your doing this plug the mini usb into the mini usb on the side next to the sdcard slot.

The tool should suddenly show found rockhip device and you can let go.

Click eraseIDB and when that done click run.

Watch the progress and you know when its done and after that plug in normally.

Dont worry about bricking since even a bad flash is fixable.

Not a big problem but I discovered that 1.9a is not saving sound output selections between reboots, if I select rockchip HDMI passthrough next time after a restart I have to select the option again.

Dears, no one more have video problems? I've a mk809iii and seems that all resolutions 1080p cause video problems.. during use of stick appears randomly lines in the screens (more visibles when monitor is black) and randomly monitor go in black screen mode for 1 second, then turns ok and the other time black.
            I've tried yet to:
            -Change usb cable
            - don't use hdmi adapter
            - use otg port to give power to stick
            - set all 1080 resolutions.
No problems only if I put a very low quality video as 720x360 or similar...
Could be that have problem with video card?
            Many thanks for any help..

Your going to find that in many 1080p roms if not all iam afraid.
There are ways around this like using plex and it server for videos but i yet to see a 1080p rom play nicely with all streaming apps.

There also the archos media player and its codec pack (both free) which should avoid all the video problems for your personal videos.

                  Spoofing Google Play

Hi everyone, this is my first post on this Forum, although I read them for a long time

First of all: thank you Neomode for your work. Danke schön!
Version 1.9a is working fast and stable on my CX-919. Works WiFi, BT, Gigabit LAN-USB adapter (unfortunately not at full speed), CIFS, even an old Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 which one previously did not work.
But I have big request: improve compatibility with applications from Android Market (Google Play). I myself changed the corresponding entries in build.prop to spoof SGS3 or Nexus 7 but still Market does not allow install many of the applications, although in "My Devices" showed a changed device! I also used build.prop directly coming from version 1.7 (which pretending Nexus 7 not have problems with Market) but even that did not help. I have no idea why!?

Greetings to all and... sorry for my english

                    Power Supply

                    Hi,
                    I'm the proud owner of a mk809iii with 1.9.
There are a few lag problems with video playback and static while using passtrough.
A better psu seems to be the solution. Some of you say 3A is recommended.
I found an 4A psu like this one TC02-iG Will this work? Or is it to much? I can't find any single port 3a usb psu's.
                    Thanks.

I ran into a problem. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate. From within X64\Win7. When right click and install on rockusb.inf, it errors with:
"The INF file you selected does not support this method of installation"
Should I let Windows detect and install the driver?

Naw reboot the pc and go into the same area you chose for selecting safe mode.
Instead select turn off driver signature .

This happens in some versions of windows because the driver is not signed.

Then you can go into device manger and select the driver when the yellow question mark shows up doing the push button plug in part.

fortunaly you only have to do this once.

Tried Safe Mode, no joy. Tried the "Have Disk" option in the Add Legacy Hardware option in Device Manager too. No luck. No Model comes up to select when I select the inf. Tried in Safe mode and after a normal start up. If I select an inf for a wireless adapter that I have the device model is displayed. So I have to assume my windows installation is not broken.

                              Hi Neo,

I get this when trying to install drivers automatically:
                              Running installation failed!

                              I have Win 7 64bit.

                              Thanks.

Thanks Neo but after extracting to a folder and running DriverInstall.exe, I get an error, "Running installation failed!". I'm using Windows 7 64 bit too.
