I tried to see if the CIFS.ko module would allow for NFS mounts but it still doesn't work, you are probably right!

Is there anyone who nows how to get NFS sharing up and running? Please let me know how to do that I use Hanewin NFS server on Windows 7 pro and CIFSmanager on my CX919.

I hope someone can help me out because SMB is to slow for wireless streaming over 720p.

    THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I use plex server to bypass the smb issues and can easily play 1080p directly from it over wifi.

Its free and upside is it grabs all the media info too.

Also you can use the plex client (cost five bucks) to transcode and play on devices that don't normally have the power to.

Yes it woks super perfect but unfortunately I have been forced to try another ROM,I have great problems connecting BT to my Pioneer unit, I know my use is not what stick are meant for, but this combination are great. Will try again when NEOMODE 1,9 for MK802IV are released

Bye the way newer got hybrid ROM 1,7 to work, install perfect, but again trouble with the BT part (driver or something in ROM prevent BT to work with touch screen) I have tried 3 or 4 other ROM, they all BT connect perfectly with Pioneer unit, but unfortunately for me!! NEOMODE is fare the best ROM of them all.

          Hi NEOMODE

When you release ROM version for MK802IV, will there be changes in Bluetooth setup (drivers, system or what ever) compered with MK809iii version??

Its quite hard to break these devices so no major worries.
I was worried about bricking it and remain without stick.
You mention to download easily my original rom, but where to download from??? I bought it in China via aliexpress, I really ignore where is uploaded the original fw.
              Any idea?
              Thanks a lot!

                    strange cpu frequenc

                    Hello neomode

First thank you very much for your grate job!
When I try to check the frequency of cpu in setcpu our any other program I saw that the minimum frequency is 1.2ghz and maximum is 1.4. So I think it's not good for cpu temperature because it always run high frequency. And I can't change it because when I overclock it using phjanderson instruction nothing happens with frequency. Could you please make firmware like kernel2 but with wide range of frequency? From 0.3 to 1.6ghz and left the maximum ddr overclock? If it's possible to overclock the gpu too it will be grate!
                    Thank you in advance!

                      Thank you very much, Neomode!

Hello Neomode and everybody of you, guys.

I'm new here and I decided to register just to write this first post and thank Neomode for his great job.

I've got a MK809III stick since few days. It took about one hour for unboxing it, plugging it, realizing that I had to get the rid of the stock rom, coming across this forum, downloading and flashing this super-rom and... starting to smile at my new device!

As long as I could play with it so far, I can say that wifi and BT work very well, system is pretty fast, responsive and stable and almost everything seems ok.

The only issues I've encountered has been when trying to play 1080p mkv videos with both mxplayer, vlc and xbmc (I get audio/video slowdown and frames skipping). I use kernel3 and for the rest I have 1080p correctly displayed. Thus, I'm not sure it is due to the rom. Any suggestion for solving this issue will be appreciated.

                      Thank you again, Neomode.

My stick looks the very same of yours. I would go to flash it with this rom asap!
Anyway, if you prefer to have a stock rom image sitting close to you before to try it, I can understand you. However, remember that these RK devices are quite unbrickable...

Yes it is the same Stick, UGOOS called it the QC802.
                          You can Install no worry.

In my honest opinion, over and underclocking functionality should be as safely accessible as possible, but left to end-user to determine and set. Between Sam's OC kernel dev and clock speed related apps, its not necessary at this level. Creating numerous kernels for one ROM isn't standard practice, and is generally only done when it is difficult to pin down a specific bug or when catering to a number of odd but supposedly identical devices, such as the MK809iii.

I just notice that now frequency is strange and ask to correct this thing. Anyway kernel2 is fast enoght for any purpose.
