Strange.. I dont even have those settings under location.

I don't have the camera anymore in the "status-field" next to the volume-icons in this rom.

You can add the camera icon back to the status bar in the screenshot settings

Back your apps and do a factory reset see if that fixes the problem

Not needed, It could be enabled by the relevant widget (the one with Wi-fi / BT / location service / brightness)

Did both a factory reset and a reflash since it seems always the same: "mode location off" and I still can't switch it on..

uninstalled and re-installed foursquare, and now it works!

but my calendar, doesn't seem to sync my google calendar. over at the accounts tab, there is no option showing that it's syncing google calendar.

You could try a different calendar app

If you click on Settings from the menu your gmail account should show on the left and when you click it there will be a check box on the right to sync. It added my account automatically as I was logged into Google. You can install Google calendar as well as the stock calendar but they're almost identical and both sync.

                          Please Help!!!

                          Dear Riley,

Maybe I made something wrong, but after I installed your 1.6.1 ROM to my PIPO M6 Pro (wifi only) tablet I cant turn on it again. Respectively I can turn on but the only thing what I see a fireman badget (I tried to reset many times). Its very strange because installation precess went smoothly. Can I do something to repair my tablet or its a brick now?

                          Thank you for your help!

If you are returning to 1.6.1 after you flashed 1.7, you MUST check the loader.

The tablet won't boot to 4.2.2 from a 4.4.2 loader.

Connect to your PC and hold "esc" and "power" buttons until the flash tool see's your tablet in "loader" mode...then flash again with the loader checked at the top of the list of ROM elements. Don't erase IDB because you will just get errors.

Some people have bricked their tablet while doing this, so look for the thread in the Pipo section that address how others have un bricked their tablet.

                              Dear Riley,

Thank you for the fast reply!
I never flash ROM 1.7. I just tried to replace the factory ROM (Android 4.2.2) to your custom rom. First I did it but missed to changed the the system storage size. So I made the whole process again. But I missed the driver installation (in the device manager). Do you think that1s why I brick my tablet?

                              Comment

No, I don't think it was the driver, because you would not have been able to flash in the first place if the driver wasn't loaded.

You may have a glitch in your USB connection, though. Make sure you are using the USB cable that came with the tablet...it has a longer micro end that fits deeper in the case.
