Yes, that is still DHCP and is dynamic addressing. One way is to reserve IP's for certain MAC addresses.

Im wondering if static works through CLI?

    Code:
    su
    ifconfig eth0 inet x.x.x.x netmask 255.255.255.x up
route add default gw y.y.y.y eth0

Is there any way to fix the keyboard bug, every time I reboot the device I need to change in setting to get back the onscreen keyboard.

Hmm, i guess that i'm the only one having the need to use static IP settings on LAN then I cross my fingers that this will be working ok in v0.93 - or else i'm stuck on 4.2.2
Hi Flemming. If you give me simple, step by step instructions on how you are setting a Static IP, I will try it this weekend on my Minix X7 running this awesome KitKat firmware. I know how to get to the Static IP area in the menu, put I do not know what to put in the fields.

I use static IP settings on the X7 to be able to set DNS servers manually, to use with UnblockUS. As mentioned, Maerlin has the same issue as me.
Instead of going the Static route for UnblockUs, try the free app DNS Changer. Set UNBlockUS as your custom dns.

I get the same problem. The system is stopped on booting when I save my static IP

                      RKBatchtool

                      Nafstyle51

                      The tool is RKBatchtool http://wiki.radxa.com/Rock/flash_the_image

Everything you need is in Wasser's download for the ROM!!

The only problem may be with drivers, but that is discussed earlier in this thread

                          KitKat-4.4.2 for Minix X7 v0.92

i reached the first step, my rkandroidtool Found rock usb (my minix neo X7)

                          But about flashing, i don't know what files i have to use : RK3188Loader(L)_V2.08.bin ? system.img ? kernel-neox7.img ? boot.img ? parameter2 ? parameter4? parameter6? parameter8?
and what is the first one, the second one ... all in the same time ?

                          Thanks in advance.

                          Regards.

I am also interested in this question..

I loaded up the stock ones but how do I load up the new 720 kernel with wifi working? I tried to direct loader to the 720 kernel but that does not work.

The actual tool that Wasser provides is the RKAndroidTool
It is in the download of the ROM

You need to select the Loader RK3188Loader(L)_V2.08
not the V1.24. The file is in the Rockdev folder
Just click on the right most column of the tool, to browse and select

First time round just leave all the other files as they are
and you will load the basic image

Later you have to read this entire thread to decide if you want a diffiernt
parameter file or an overclock rom

There is lots there to try out
