So you guys managed to get Netflix to work in SuperHD with Minix X7?

It usually works with some strange resolution which is somewhere between 480p and 720p with tablet devices, mobile phones etc. (with the exception of nexus 7)

I want this feature so bad. Would make the device pretty much perfect. I heard simple nexus 7 spoof won't do the trick though because there is some kind of hardware signature verify process to get SuperHD/1080p.

@ xda they say it can be done but you have to lock the bootloader as well.
I dont know if it is possible for the minix x7.

I tried this on 2 X7 and now neither of them will boot up. They wont register on the computer either. the red light for the optical port turns on for a couple seconds then goes off and nothing.

any hope of getting the boxes back to normal at least?

KitKat-4.4.2 for Minix X7

Flashing kit kat to my x7. I have flashed others before no issues but this messed up my x7

OK now how do you hide the system bar in KITkat like in the older os? i cant find an option under settings

Just use xposed framework and gravity box. And in display settings use immersive mode.
Working great on Wassers rom.
