Thanks I managed to flash this rom, however it seems this firmware broke the rotation, in the last firmware I modified build.prop for 270 degree rotation but this one is no go

You have to unzip it first and use the RKBatchTool to flash the firmware. To simplify the rom flashing i have packed all files in one img file.

i've seen some incredible work being done for RK3188-T's and they seem to have an official KK release with the work they are doing, then somewhere in-between some guy (or group) named Radxa has brewed some incredible work as well...

as for the 0.94, im also interested to know if it's based on the same stuff as 0.92, or whether the above mentioned thread can be made of use to this?

Passthru working
but defaults to Airmouse, if connected, for input and output and needs to be reset after every power on

Accepts multiple USB drives
but does not auto mount. Mount must be done manually

Both are problems that existed in the Finless 4.2
and can be lived with

Almost perfect - I have an issue with Hulu Plus

This ROM is sweet. Everything seems to work great.

The only issue I have is that Hulu Plus kills my display. I installed the latest version of Hulu. The lobby page displays with no problem. I select a program to watch and then the screen goes black. I can hear the audio but there is nothing on the screen. Even when I exit Hulu my screen is still blank. The only way I can get the screen back is to unplug the HDMI cable and then plug it back in. I've tried two monitors at different resolutions from other manufactures with the same results. This is strange because Hulu worked on .92. Crackle and Netflix work without a problem.

Any insight would be great.

Passthru working

I was able to get passthrough working with MX player but not with any libmedia-hacked XBMC edition (like Beyond XBMC). I even tried to swap the /system/lib/libmedia.so with the one inside libmediaKitKatPatchedByStafstrom.zip but the system did not like that file...

Can anyone report succes with passthrough & XBMC (wo. using any external player)?

P.S. Congrats 2 wasser for xcellent ROM 0.94 !!!

Passthru

I only use MX Pro and even then passthru is not perfect

I have 3 test files, and if I play each I hear the DTS signal
but after the 3rd file, when I go back to the other files nothing is heard.

I have to go back to the Sound settings, check the boxes again
even though they all look correct, then the DTS passes thru again

More testing later today with some full length films
to see if I can pin down a pattern

I'm using mx player and bsplayer, but not all videos are played smoothly, there's a kernel to improve performance or another player to try?

1. The sound device manager is flaky
Clicking on an option shows the dot on the screen, but may need 2 or 3 clicks before the Touch sound is heard and the option actually works

2. Passthru is very erratic
The DTS video plays, no error message on the screen about unsupported audio
but no sound output. I have tried SPDIF and HDMI options. My amp is set to Auto
so should detect either

On one occasion the digital signal came for 10 second then stopped but the video continued

I have tried various versions of MX PRO but no differences

I have now spent another couple of hours testing
and still do not have any clear conclusions

I have seen DTS signal come through when normal Rockchip selected
The more I play the more I feel the problem is in the Sound Devices Manager
but will keep looking
