I think the sync problem is libmedia.so ... try changing your sound output to defult, (dont remember name, but the first in list) then my audio in netflix is ok again.

But i still have "slow frames" in netflix and viaplay apps :/ - maybe something with streaming ?

Also if i have 1.0.2 installed is there an easy way to upgrade without wiping? like from the sdcard as i would upgrade the OEM?

      Thanks
      1. it doesn' support passthrough,

      2. yes, it's possible to update to 1.0.3 per CWM.

which firmware version have you used? the "slow frames" in netflix and viaplay apps shouldn't happen in 1.0.x firmware.

X8 is also on my todo list . But please don't expect it will happen soon.

it can be fixed in xbmc.

Would that fix other apps that don't use xbmc? We have abc iview in Australia, it it also has delay. On jb was fine
              Without memories we have nothing.

can you tell how you managed to set a delay of 2,5 sec as default oO ?
would be very thankful about that

The sdcard is R/W enabled and has enough space for the backup. I used the same recovery rom and the same sdcard in Android 4.2 installations and the Backup function was ok, so I assumed some sort of incompatibility with wasser's 4.4.
Solved this issue by flashing the recovery found on this page:
http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/ look for "CWM recovery KK gen2 loader"

I did find about this rom in:

Hi, using XBMC 13.1 (I used wasser's xbmc and his libmedia.so), to play a video containing a DTS stream, it appears that the input rear channels are incorrectly mapped to the output front channels and the input front and center channels are ignored, thus small levels of sound are output to the speakers since the rear channels are usually weak (and sometimes with no sound at all). This issue does not happen for DD/AAC streams.

                    Hope this helps.
                    Cheers

I installed v1.0.2 today as instructed and I discovered that the ROM is plagued by flickering, where the QSv2 JB V4.2.2 which I used until a few hours ago is exempt.
It's not often, but still annoying.
I discovered I was not alone, but I have not found solutions. Hardware that works Wasser is the same as QSv2.
                      Something can be done?

                      Hi...
For to annoying flickering I took the video...

                      link1
                      link2

                      I noted the following:
                      - on this occasion the ROM it worked much better, with fewer flash. In other situations it is unwatchable ..
                      - To Home and XBMC are very frequent: the flashes that take the whole screen
                      - Using ES File Explorer, flickering is limited to thin white lines only in the left side of the program
                      - - Using the Terminal in full screen, the flichering is limited to ONLY in the upper bar (Windows 1). Everything else of the screen - the most part - is not affected by flickering

                      -----------

                      -
I should add that I installed a few applications, and especially that I never used.

                      - I make testing Antutu: during the tests the flashes were almost absent. Curiously, opening the options Antutu on the left, just like ES File Explorer, the white stripes were displayed numerous and dense, ONLY in the menu settings.

                      - with bluetooth wi-fi and ethernet disconnected (I have Ethernet always disconnected) in 5 minutes I had 14 flashes and a bit of white lines

                      - With XBMC open - on standby (no video playback) - for 5 minutes, the flashes were 15, with completely random sequences, maybe two/three in a row and none for two minutes. But the white stripes were always present.
after 5 min. with bluetooth, ethernet and wireless switched off, XBMC started in stand-by mode (with flickering !)
                      - my dmesg.txt after 5 min. with Bluetotth, ethernet and wireless switched off, XBMC started in stand-by mode (with flickering !)

Please note: now I'm testing the QSv3.1: it has the same problem!

As I described above is a contribution. It is not a solicitation to the solution of the problem.

                      Thanks

                      EDIT
I have not used OC kernels ...

Wow, this looks not good I never had such probem. I tried to turn off 'autohide system bar', but still no flashes or lines.

Are there any other users that have these problems?

Well just so ya know, yesterday ES Fiile Explorer was updated (V3.1.5.1) has problems. Seems to force close a lot on some of my devices, so you might want to eliminate testing/using it for the time being.

                            Cause I've been asked.
