Just lost sound completely. Not sure if this is related to my previous problem when I first installed quickshot v3 and had no sound, then came to this rom and sound worked.
I have found that sound is not even being transmitted to my A2 speaker.

I have been using this rom since v1.01 and updated kernel applied.

When you are playing video in xbmc click on the sound icon. Then audio delay and down the bottom you have set as default..maybe scroll down

If i stream Videos on Mx Player it sometimes Skip a few seconds (up to 1 Minute ). I stream Videos from Streamcloud. i think it skips irregular and is not often.

I noted the following:
- on this occasion the ROM it worked much better, with fewer flash. In other situations it is unwatchable ..
- To Home and XBMC are very frequent: the flashes that take the whole screen
- Using ES File Explorer, flickering is limited to thin white lines only in the left side of the program
- - Using the Terminal in full screen, the flichering is limited to ONLY in the upper bar (Windows 1). Everything else of the screen - the most part - is not affected by flickering

- I should add that I installed a few applications, and especially that I never used.

- I make testing Antutu: during the tests the flashes were almost absent. Curiously, opening the options Antutu on the left, just like ES File Explorer, the white stripes were displayed numerous and dense, ONLY in the menu settings.

- with bluetooth wi-fi and ethernet disconnected (I have Ethernet always disconnected) in 5 minutes I had 14 flashes and a bit of white lines

- With XBMC open - on standby (no video playback) - for 5 minutes, the flashes were 15, with completely random sequences, maybe two/three in a row and none for two minutes. But the white stripes were always present.
after 5 min. with bluetooth, ethernet and wireless switched off, XBMC started in stand-by mode (with flickering !)
- my dmesg.txt after 5 min. with Bluetotth, ethernet and wireless switched off, XBMC started in stand-by mode (with flickering !)

Please note: now I'm testing the QSv3.1: it has the same problem!

As I described above is a contribution. It is not a solicitation to the solution of the problem.

As I have shown, to solve heavy flickering problem, I installed QSv3.1 and found - as I said - that this ROM has the same problem, in fact, heavier.
Fortunately, Leolas in my case solved the problem, with the release of a new test kernel.
I communicate with this spirit of collaboration hoping that there is no competition for this ...

Well just so ya know, yesterday ES Fiile Explorer was updated (V3.1.5.1) has problems. Seems to force close a lot on some of my devices, so you might want to eliminate testing/using it for the time being.

Yes same silly bug as in 3.1.4
USB drives only recognised if FAT32.
Does anyone still use that??

Best to stay with the 3.1.3 that Wasser kindly provided

Xbmctorrent error

Thanks for the great work!
I have a problem with the video plugin xbmctorrent and wasser xbmc version: every link I try to start I get the error "script failed" (it worked with other xbmc version...).

Solved this issue by flashing the recovery found on this page:

the initial recovery file I used was cwm-recovery.img (cwm 6.0.3.1) inside https://mega.co.nz/#!okMGGJQS!PLGn3kiLb6Wbs71pmYdEDSTH61A-6vkxrTmCx4XR6P8 (more info in http://minixforums.com/threads/noobs...ry-on-it.2382/).
The issue with this recovery rom was reported in post #1379; in summary, the external sdcard is mounted but the backup stalls just after creating the base backup directory in the sdcard.
Crew RKTablets recovery rom, albeit still version 6.0.3.1, was patched to solve this issue on kitkat.

If your Android is rooted then you can add cwm recovery easily:

1. Get recovery rom from #1388 post and unpack it to /mnt/external_sd/Download
2. go to the terminal application and enter:
# su -
# flash_image recovery /mnt/external_sd/Download/recovery.img
# reboot recovery
Your box reboots and goes to recovery.

Synchronizing with a standard browser

Hello, please help. No synchronization standard android browser. Settings-Account-Google (my account) and from that line is missing sync "Browser". Accordance browser does not have my bookmarks only local. How can I fix it? Really like the standard (stock) does.

Incredible ROM. Everything is perfect... except that in this latest version, now that we can "auto-hide the system bar", the manual hide button in the bar is gone, and you can't swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom to expose it when it's auto-hid, making it incredibly difficult to get back to without backing out of the current app. Can that be fixed? It worked perfectly in 0.95.
