NEW - Lollipop - wasser firmware 3.0.6 for Minix Neo X7

Hello again..

Just installed v. 1.0.3 and i still have the same problem with "slow" or "laggy" netflix and viaplay :/

Will try OC 1080p kernel with 720ddr to see if it helps..

Everything else seems to be good anyway!n (XBMC 1080P - DD5.1 and DTS)

1. Didnt help to OC
2. I have to choose sound on every reboot to get sound again ( HDMI Passthrough ) (last in list)

sadly i cannot test the netflix from germany. Could you please try to change hdmi modes (60hz/50hz/24hz) in Settings->Display->Screen if it works.

Thanks; I will appreciate a soon fix, because in my case losing the usb port # 1 in priority on X7 affect a lot my device usage; I had tried as well the OC 1704h & 720 ddr to see if this will solve the problem, but it´s not; however I stay with this 1704h OC kernel because the antutu raise up a little, the device is stable; I have not any single problem with ethernet nor wifi with v1.0.3; wasser xbmc 1.1 experience it´s the best so far for me, and even the basic streaming app CloudTV from minix stock it´s great over here. Only good words for this rom, webcam working good here as well.
I came from stock 010 FW directly to this wasser v1.0.3 rom and the experiencie it´s very pleasant except for having the usb-otg port turned off; the "connect to pc" option works ok, with the device auto-installing drivers on PC when connected as a "nexus 10".

1- install terminal app and launch it

1. copy the kernel.img file to /sdcard/

2. flash_image kernel /sdcard/kernel.img

Have hdmi and using patched xbmc and hacked libmedia.


All I get when playing ac3 5.1 is a lot of static...

Tested but unfortunately did not fix the problem, usb-otg is still turned "off".

This kernel image from the link is smaller in size (10837 kb) than the original & oc kernel provided with 1.0.3 (10913 kb)?

Download the file again, it is probably corrupted

RKBatchTool should successfully load the file
before you press the button to transfer to Minix

The option is checked, and have tried SPDIF and Rock on the Sound Device Mgr
but no passthru.

dts passthrough is disable in wasser xbmc by default, you have to enable it in
Settings->System->Audio ouput->Enable passthrough

To get the option (enable passthrough in xbmc) you have to set Setting level (Settings->system) to expert and set Outpur configuratiion to Best Match.

Please try again.
