You should open this chinese sh@t and see who is the producer of the motherboard. That is what helped me. Cause it is not only the chips that matters obviously, but also the rom has to be specific made for the current board. The other option is to ask the seller who sold it to you to give you the stock rom. You managed to flash it and do not have wifi, or you could not even flash it?

Dear Neomode,
I have mk802IV + Lightpack with this custom rom (MK809III AP6210 NEOTV CROM Version 2.0 1080p). The result with the lightpack is perfect. I've also tried emulators and works really well.
This is the best custom rom that I have ever run in my stick. Fast, stable and smooth. However, some apps do not work on it. Such as Mitele (spanish tv streaming) do not work. And only just "in live". Can you check somehow y repair?
Thank you very much in advance.

Picture Black outs in full hd mode
Hey Neomode,
thanks for the rom. I tested it yesterday. Mostly because I wanted to have the Full HD experience on my Ugoos UM2. Has a RK3188 and the AP6210. So I figured it could work.
After Installation Wlan is a little slow. Only 2-3 mbit when I had already 20mbit at the same position.
Full HD is working great on my new Samsung TV. But on my little older Sony 46EX705 the picture blacks out every 2-3 seconds ...
... even tried to connect the stick without a cable. still no solution.
when i change back to 720 everything is working fine.
Also the Kernal for 1.800Mhz is not working. I only get 1.600. Whatever i try.
Is there any known solution for my problem with the picture black outs?
Regards
C

WLAN Hardware improvement.
Hello Everybody! Excuse for my bad english, its not my native language.
I am using my Mk809iii for about 6 month. I have tried many different firmwares on it.
For my device, witch you can see in the pictures the custom rom 2.0 from NEOMODE works best for now.
I have tried the version 2.1 too, but my monitor began to go on and off.
Everything works fine except the wlan signal and the wlan speed, witch was very poor.
So i Have tried to build a new very simple antenna. In my case the WIFI signal stength improved about 25dbi with the new antenna!!!!!
I soldered the original antenna out.
I used two thin insulatet wires about 40mm long. I soldered them to the two points where the orignal antenna coaxialcable was connected. After soldering i cut them in ther lengh to make sure ther endpoints are 62mm apart from each other. The midpoint, the gap between the two soldering pads should be 31mm away from every endpoint. This forms a very simple half wave dipole antenna for 2.422 GHZ. The one end with is close to the pcb got an insulation to avoid a short circuit on the other components.
In my case this works very good. I must find now a solution to put the hole thing back in the enclosure or let the red wire stay. IF YOU TRY THIS WITH YOUR DEVICE YOU DO IT AT YOU OWN RISK! YOUR SELLER WILL NOT TAKE BACK YOUR TV STICK AFTER YOU OPEN THE ENCLOSURE.
