No worries yours is the same cpu so its not hardlocked.

Likely when neomode done with the work on the MK802IV it well work correctly on that model to.

I just tested a suspicion i had that it wasn't hard locked.
Not that it hasn't been done before its just cheaper to do it with software.

Since cheap seems to be the motivating factor with these devices i decided to test.

Now that neomode knows where to look things should be different for future kernels.

@neomode I also have a 3188-t and also a bitchy wifi module from the looks of it (6210) I use this stockrom with a vsync fixed kernel (kernel from the stockrom) as its the only kernel where my wifi actually works. (even if badly) http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...-dan-Vsync-Fix No oc settings or anything, but the cpu runs at 1.6ghz which I guess is stock for non -T cpus.

These kernels http://www.4shared.com/zip/VPRYcf3pb...0pkernels.html works great with your 2.0 . My mk802iv is oc to 1,8 ghz and it works with the new wifi driver. Only problem is that the video stuttering is back with these kernels, but else i works really good. Maybe you can fix the video stuttering? Then we got 1,8 ghz on your 2.0

What about Bluetooth, still no go!! If wifi works, I cant understand why Bluetooth doesn't works, it is the same module and ordinary driver, well that's probably why I am not a developer!!!

If the connection to the module is broken then it wont matter if its the correct or not.

If I'm flashing only a new kernel do I need to erase IDB or not. When installing a ROM, do I have to reinstall apps, etc, or can I somehow backup/restore the state of the apps and settings of my MK809III?

No Erase for Kernel only.
A Backup you can made with Titanium Backup or what App you like.

Yes it is, but I cant post a cpu-z screenshot right now. I can post a Antutu screenshot, though.

CPU-z tells me the apk has a wrong signature when I try to install it for some reason.

Ok, so if you can post a pic of your mini pc; rear and front.
After that try to use other app similar to cpuz; for exemple try to download "CPU Spy" or "CPU / RAM / DEVICE Identifier" or similar app. If you search "CPU" on the play store there are a tons of Cpu-z like program. After that posta a screenshot
