2.04 seems to be working fine. However on initial flash of just the kernel it did kill sound. I wiped /data and now it works and plays 720p video through the rockchip video player just fine. I'll poke around and see if it's helped at all with the visual artifacts at all.
EDIT: I don't seem to find any visual artifacts in this version on the UI if there are then it's minor. The resolution selection works perfectly and my TV reports correct switching from 720 to 1080 including between 50hz and 60hz refresh rates. Also I did all testing with RK video player playing the same 720p video file in the lower left corner. (love that feature of the RK video player btw wish more had it as I can watch while I check my email and browse)

I dont know whats causing my problem. Sometimes when i flash a new oc kernel my sound is gone. Even when flash back to your kernel still no sound. Really weird. Dee later i will send u my DMESG. U should look at it
Edit: lol now is everything working
Flashed kernel_AP6210-J22_SD_v204_cpu1800h_gpustock_ddrstock.img = no sound
back to kernel_AP6210-J22_SD_v204.img = still no sound.
After that, then back to kernel_t_AP6210-J22_SD-BT.img = sound is back
and then at last
back to the kernel of the first sentence kernel_AP6210-J22_SD_v204_cpu1800h_gpustock_ddrstock.
Surprise surprise sound is working this time.
Really weird.Last edited by Max One; 19 March 2014, 21:07.cx-919ii

So let's get the ball rolling tonight.
Can anyone test these kernels. They are configured for 't' speed. One is for AP6210 J22 (SD), the other MT7601 (HD). Please test them regardless of your wifi. I've also uploaded a non-J22 AP6210 HD for test
Please test:
1. Wifi (if you are MT7601 user I need DMESG as ROM doesn't support yet)
2. Audio
3. Video
4. Screen zoom

Hi D33,
and many thanks for all the impressive work already achieved.
I am trying to install a Logitech C525 webcam on a MK908II (I suppose the chip is a RK3188T as I bought it recently from Geeksbuying). Do you know if any of your kernel could support it ?
I have already tried a few FW and most of them do not work.
The list is in another topic:
Here is the result of my tests. I can boot with the following FW (but no cam):
- Tronsmart Android 4.4 Beta Firmware for AP6210 device
- Tronsmart mk908ii finless 1.5a
- Update mk908II 205j2105_1220 (from VonDroid.com)
- Tronsmart mk908ii update (from VonDroid.com also)
- Kasty Tronsmart mk908II cx919 qx2 442 20131225 rooted4
I cannot boot (black screen) with the following FW:
- Update mk908 101j2102
- Tronsmart mk908 new stock firmware 0802 update
- MK908II HFW 2.0.2 1080p (the one from this thread)
- MK908II HFW 2.0.3 720p 1080p (also another one from this thread)
- Tronsmart mk908 android 4.2 stock rom official np
[...]
In addition, I have tested tonight:
- Finless 2.0 for A928 (kernel 1080p)
- Finless 1.6a for CX919 (default settings ==> 720p)
For both: boot is ok, but cam is not working. Always the same symptom: when I start the Camera app it stops suddenly (with or without error message).
Note that on Finless 1.6a the screen was blinking.
[...]
I tried the Finless 2.0 for CX919 from your link with the kernel T AP6210 HD from d33.
The device can boot but no cam, as usual..

We are hoping to get a newer set of, hopefully not-beta, sources sometime. Until then camera support is not in Rockchip KK.Measy U4B (=Tronsmart T428) used by my kids!
