Anyone???is the built in decoding for S802 chips (Not 802-B/802-H) true? if so i would like to know how (tech explanation i dont mind). Is iit real hardware decoding or it's software decoding built in?, i mean can i open mxx player or other non xbmc player and get dolby/dts software or hardware decoding? for sure this deserves an explanation isn't it? i'm very curious.

I own a tronsmart vega elite and was looking to purchase a -B or -H box and a 5.1 sound bar or sound system, THAT IS WHY I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE SPEND IN OTHER BOX and as you can see i don't have how to test dolby/dts decoding...

I have the beelink s802B and it decodes ddhd and dtshd

I to could not believe it my box only originally decoded ddhd I wanted to send the box back my seller told me there would be an update for dtshd I refused to believe him but it happened 107k4 and up I believe but wasser's 106k4 had dtshd decoding as well.


try the 108k4 rom feels smoother the home screen lag is gone.

Have 108k4 installed everything seems to be working fine though in the settings its showing my s802-h is an s802b

My S82B just came today, I installed the latest firmware, it's the best yet, everything works very well,
1 problem I'm having is connecting my PS3 controller via bluetooth,
works fine with the USB cable connected, but it just won't see it on bluetooth,
I'm using the sixaxis controller app, I'm sure I had it connected on bluetooth with the 1.8 finless on an S82.
Could be wrong though, I got a 5 different android boxes kicking around here hard to keep track.
I know for sure it works fine on my rockchip box

Yup it is.

They took all the updates/fixes and improvements from all the roms here and put it into 108k.

When the guys are done modding it things should be really wild.

About last firmware, i have an issue with screensaver feature.
I activate 4 min delay, and it works OK first time, but next time, box fall in deep sleep (red led).

I do have a question which is slightly off-topic. But I would like to know if it is possible to setup a Logitech Harmony remote with enabled Pause and Play buttons. I already configured my Harmony and have added the S82 as Tronsmart Vega S89. Thats working just fine. But the Harmony Play and Pause buttons are not working. The remote delivered with the device doesn't have this buttons so this might be the problem.

Has somebody a solution to enable the pause & play buttons on the Harmony?

Because the stock firmware includes all the fixes/updates and tweaks from all the custom firmwares here.
Unlike rockchip the guys behind these devices have no problem giving credit to custom makers and including the improvements.

As I see it the stock firmware over time incorporates most if not all of the custom ROMs fixes and improvement. Just look at the stock ROM's release notes.

The advantage will be, if implemented, the ability to update the ROM without loosing installed apps and settings.

live video stream

I noticed that there some discussions (in wassers ROM thread) about the missing functionality for live video stream (real time stream).

Oman, please can you tell us which version of Flash Player is used in KitKat, is it the original version from google or is it the already modified version like posted in xda developers forum (link but works only with dolphin + ff I guess).

Unfortunately google have removed some APIs so that live streams not working with KitKat (An imp who mean this was done without a hidden agenda)
