i have misplaced the mini sd card and cant find one anywhere!
      any advice or link?

      thanks in advance
You can do the update from a USB flash drive without copying the files to the TV box. This is how I have done my last two flashes on this box.

managed to get it to work from the usb.
        thanks.

i have 3 other tronsmart boxes side by side untouched.

now that i have a perfect setup on one is there an app that can make a perfect image or clone of this setup so i can load it the same way i would a rom from here?

Family duties, would save me greatly.

Some options that come to my mind are:

Nandroid (I have no experience with it though)
Titanium Backup (here you'll want the paid Pro version supporting batches)
Create your own ROM (quite complex I suppose but best solution in the end)

                Awesome, good tip for XBMC

Can also be done in FX (file explorer). And with the root addon for FX you can also copy all your playstore-installed apks from the data/app folder. Copy them to an SD-card or USB. Then on another mediabox go to all apps and to "app installer", find your copied apks, select all and install.

I assumed the question involved multiple apps in the system set-up, this should cover it all now anyway.

I've done this via ADB Backup... AFAIK it should be the same backup maker as you'd find in the Original Firmware under the OTA Settings. IIRC: That pretty much backed almost everything sans the Google Play Music App from my M82. (1G/8G MXIII) The only thing I'd have to do beyond that is to change the Android ID ... eventually the IMEI/MEID Numbers to how I noted 'em down once. So as NOT to re-create a zillion M82 Devices. And, lock myself outta Google Play Music again.

                          Bluetooth

Oman any chance of a flashable zip to add Bluetooth for the mxiii 2g so we can use the 111k4 rom. Or is there a way to extract the drivers from the 110K4 rom and insert them into the 111K4 rom, if some one can point me in the right direction I would much appreciate it.

                            Hi guys
I wasn't here for a while, actually I have 108k4 firmware, device is Tronsmart S89H.
Topic's name has changed I think, I can't see S89, so is a new firmware 111k4 proper to my device ?

Back to my question - is this addon (Disclose.tv) working on any of latest new firmwares for S89 ?
                            109k4/111k4 , Finless or any other Android's firmware ?
What firmware would be best for my device ?
                            Thanks.

It works fine on it and most of the non drm apps like that where addressed in finless version of this firmware.

                                xbmc is no issue
i have no issue with copying that over.
i really want to figure out how to make an actually image that has everything setup as a restore.img

i cant seem to get the right answer.

i basically want to set up a box with everything from bootlogos, to a preconfigured xbmc, about 50 pre installed apk's

and i'd like to be able to simply take one of many boxes i have to do, put an sd card in, restore.....
and be at the starting screen that asks you to set up the box itself.

same way finless oman or leolas does it.

i am still trying to wrap my head around twrp and nandoird and how to even use that.

im 2 days in pure OCD and i hve gotten no where lol
except of course totally erasing my perfect box that i wanted to create an image from.
                                lol
