I will be setting mine up soon to point to my HTPC so may be able to assist. I assume you are just running into some networking issues with win 7 would be my guess.

      - Turn off windows firewall
      - Ensure you are on the same network / subnet
      - Make a shared folder and open it to a specific user, specify that user on android
      - Play with sharing settings in win 7. I also know there are some media specific settings in win 7 too, but that should just be an extension of the sharing settings.

Some of those may not apply because I have not tried remote xbmc on an android yet. I know on my pc I simply path to my other pc. \\mginster\torrents...etc.

If you go too crazy you can always install Plex on your windows 7 machine and then its super easy to get your media from anything and anywhere.

      - Install Plex server on win 7 machine, set up libraries, set up quick Plex account, log in on server
      - Install Plex android app, log in with Plex account, done

Plex is better if you have a ton of devices you want to share with and across the web, its just easier. Also, I feel Plex scrapes content wayyyyy better than XBMC. For example in XBMC it detects about half my movies, Plex gets about 90%.

Just install a SMB server (like smbDroid) on your android box and mount that shares in your Windows PC.

If you just want to watch your videos from your xbmc box you can use the upnp-server from xbmc. For full access to your hdd with smb shares you have to install an extra android app.

                Great Firmware for Tronsmart Vega-H

                Hello Bob,

Whoowwwiie. This is a really nice firmware! I have been using your work now since the Neo x7 and this is by far the smoothest firmware I have tried. I've been using the official XBMC v13.2 and it's really fast and responsive. Next to that, the lipsync issue in XBMC is gone (was visible in the 1.8 firmware).

I will make an donation, thanks for all the hard work and dedication!

ey kun je me vertellen hoe je hebt geupdate naar 109k4 het lukt me namelijk niet via micro sd
en of via update app en ik kan het img bestand niet vinden voor 109k4 anders had ik het via burning tool geprobeerd

yes I can. Sorry for the rest. it's in Dutch:
                    1 Download de laatste ROM
2 Pak de Zip file uit en zet de bestanden op een SD kaartje (root)
3 Maak een backup van je oude bestanden
                    4 zet het systeem uit
5 druk de restore knop in (via tandenstoker) en druk op de power button. Houdt beide ingedrukt todat logo verschijnt (daarna loslaten).

Kijk anders even in de zip file die Bob toegevoegd heeft daar zit een goede uitleg bij

                        Hi Bob,

is there still a chance for you to build a rom with a kernel that can support the HFS filesystem?
