I can use market enabler to go to all countries without any problem. Whereas installing flash player, I have the same problem like you at the first time. I do exactly as Bob described but flash player doesn't work. Finally I go to "setting > application" and find that flash player programs still exists there with 0KB. I just uninstall it and reinstall a new flash player. That's it!!!

hmm this solution don't work for me :/ bdw. do you uninstall player in default launcher or new launcher, i put new launcher for default by error and i don't know how to back on old default launcher or to selection of launchers like first time when i put finless ROM on my device.

If you have install the Droidmote before you applied the ROM, then try to uninstall and reinstall the Droidmote server application.

solving the audio video sync problem!

AV sync issue could be related to the implementation of HDMI in UG802. It certainly can be fixed in software. But it won't be easy. I don't know if Finless is armed enough to fix it. It could be at kernel level. Some googling and asking around might help to implement it in future ROMs. Another sure way of fixing it is to put AV receiver between UG802 and TV, and then program audio or video delay to achieve desired sync.
If there are media player like BSPlayer to support custom setting like that - very good.
My hopes are high with JellyBean because Google made it to have less latencies. So it might fix AV sync issue alltogether.

ok i agree with this post about audio video sync nothing to do with rockchip or video players its the latancey to television i was able to sync audio video with a diffrent tv at my fiends house it had a audio sync feature in the tvs audio settings it is 2 seconds out! but for now its usless as a media player so i cant suggest this device to any one untill they have it working like mk802 hdmi audio video sync! maybe someone can pull the file from the mk802 rom!

Couple of thoughts after installing your ROM, Bob:
1. It seems that it's based on earlier versions of UG802 firmware, I notice less stability, but stronger WiFi signal. I can live with that!
2. System partition is mounted as Read/Write while it should be Read-Only. It can lead to all kinds of corruption of the system and eventual degradation. Root Explorer could not remount it back to RO, which is really weird.
3. For people looking to restore original firmware - lookup ARMTVTECH website. It has 3 different firmwares available. http://www.armtvtech.com/armtvtechfo...wforum.php?f=5

Galaxy Note N7000 has Cortex A9 CPU with Mali GPU - just like UG802 RK3066. And its display resolution is 1280x720. So it's a good match.

Yes this ROM has uinput. I have not used droidmote but I have used VNC, etc.
To make sure you uinput module is working, download a terminal emulator for the market
run it
type su at prompt
now type lsmod
This will list all KO modules installed and running.

Go into settings and and storage. Make sure storage is mounted. If you get an error then format storage and try again. Internal SDcard must show up as a drive to windows.

It was becoming somewhat obvious to me that this was most likely the case. Doesn't make sense to me though as I would have thought it would be in there.

Bob, before you drop you JB ROM is that something that you can confirm that there is uinput.ko in it. If it isn't is this something that has to be coded into the kernel, modded for this ROM, or just a Universal module that gets dropped in the ROM.

Otherwise I guess we can always ping zulu for some assistance with the JB ROM when Bob drops it on us.

Looking forward to the JB update, and cheers for your work on it thus far. I'm still running stock, so will wait for that update to come along.

For me wifi is usable for the net (although very slow) and things like Youtube etc or browsing nfs shares is pretty much unusable. I hope this can be fixed (but it's looking unlikely I guess without modifying the internals?)

Slightly OT, but does anyone have a USB hub recommendation that can be used? I've got a MS adapter (not externally powered) that doesnt work. Ideally I'd want two to three devices hanging off of it. Im guessing it has to be externally powered, which doesn't bother me.

If that doesn't work, what recommendations are there for a full size wireless/mouse combo?

i have usb hub whitout external power and everything work ok, but you must use hub with cable i buy hub like box whitout cable and with that hub i broke mirco usb adaptor inside device, so after some repair in electronic store, power working thru usb but data transfer not ! so i was not able to update thru pc only thru sd card.

Regarding the Audio/Video sync issues on the UG802.

I have this setup:

UG802 (fully rooted, but not with Finlessbob's ROM)
32gb SanDISK Ultra micro-sd card class 10
Connected to a TV with 1280x720 resolution

I got the 802 a week ago, and I have been trying to wrap my brain around the sync issues people (me included) seem to be having. From what I can tell, the desync is the same no matter what player I'm using. I've tried BS player, MX player, VLC and they all have the same desync; maybe a quarter of a second off. In order to make sure it was not caused by my sd-card class 10 because it caused lag or something, I moved a 720p .mkv file to my flash drive and experienced exactly the same amount of lag there. When I browse YouTube, same thing there. The movies I play have an AV desync of about a quarter of a second.

All this makes me believe that the culprit is either one of two things;
1. Hardware issue.
2. Some software that runs in the background, that effects all videos being played from the device.

I feel like number two is more likely than number one, and I will try to look into what actually comes with the UG802 so I can maybe find out whats causing this. On windows we have videoplayers that can sync video with audio by setting a delay, but I haven't found any on the Play Store for andriod. I also get one other problem when I install other videoplayers; black bars on top, left, and right side. It's like it won't fullscreen. When I play movies with the videoplayers that came with the device I dont see these black bars.

Any help towards any of the two issues I'm having is greatly appreciated.
