Try to wipe the data partition from recovery.

Sorry for being a noob, but i've wiped cache partition from recovery menu, is this what you mean?

No, you need to do wipe data/factory reset.

media box is a bit generic really, its actually a linux box so YES you can install chrome (or more exactly chromium)

use your right click / option menu button while the repo is highlighted and choose 'force update' then give it a little while to download

Great work on this rom, I've installed on my TRMk1 (S802) and it's running beautifully. Unfortunately it doesn't recognise the Wi-Fi module or the standard IR remote but wow it's fast . Just been testing out some streaming via ethernet and 4 episodes in not a sign of any buffering when streaming 720p files

+1 for standard remote not working

anyone have any ideas on how to get this working ?

Hi,

I've managed to get this working flawlessly on my m8, However, having a problem with my mx2.

I downloaded the G18 version, and tried updating from recovery menu, however, it gets as far as "--Install /sdcard ....

Finding update package

decrypting update package"

Then just goes back to the main recovery menu.

Any ideas?

With the mx2 you install the matricom 1.6 firmware first then install openelec
