          I just did a fresh install on the meson8-k200-devel-320a148 file and I still m on gotham s well. Instal went good Np but Gotham 13.2 starts up?

              Hi code snake.

              Link works....Hi codesnake I am wondering if you can help. I have the unltimate XBMC package and I want to replace the .xbmc pakage on your openelec xbc How do I copy the .xbmc to the existing xbmc on your file. I am new ay Linux . AS stated before your firmware is awesome but I is thre an easy way to copy the contenets of my .xmc folder into the contents of the .xbmc folder in openelc.

                  You can use the SAMBA shared folders to access your box. Open the Network folder on your PC and you should see your box there. Note that Kodi uses the .kodi folder, not .xbmc.

                        Can we just copy the 4 files from the TARGET file into the .update OE file and reboot to force the update? I could do this on OE builds for the Pi so I assume the same would apply to the M8?

                          Answered my own question!

                          Yes, by pasting the 4 files from the target folder into the update folder and then rebooting the M8, it forces the auto update and in less than 3 minutes I'm now running Kodi 14.0-BETA1

                          Also to confirm that HDMI-CEC works out of the box so to speak, with no configuration needed to enable it.

                            What benefits are there to Kodi 14.0 over Gotham 13.2 on the M8? And likewise OpenELEC 5 over 4.
