annaepi, yes 3G modem on pipo is rated for 7Mbit/s but in reality in best conditions can do only 1-2Mbit/s. It is extremely poorif you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

Well it was until just now. My battery was low (4%) so i made a shutdown and connected the M6 to the wall wart and the cover was closed.
I was on my way to use it and opened the cover and did realized it was on and hanging where it says "Pipo interactive media".
Is it normal the tab turns on if you connect the charger?
So now it's hanging there. I can push the power button for some time and it goes off but turns on again after 5 seconds.
Pushing the reset also makes no difference.
The M6 was running the whole time without crashing or hanging :-(
EDIT:
After unplugging the wall wart and pushing reset it stayed off. After pushing the power on button it booted and started normal?
There is just one thing that does not work: the camera...
I get the message "Camera error - Cannot connect to camera"
I'm the only one? Cause searching this thread for "camera" returns nothing.

you need to open the tablet and connect the camera plug on the mainboard that probably is disconnected...it's really a common problem on pipo m6proif you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

I found something after upgrading my M6 Pro to this Rom 1.2.. My graphics sometimes having a glitch, it shows a random pixel on any part of the screen and disappear, it shows around 1-2secs..
BTW, another thing is, when I first booted up this 1.2 ROM, it hangs on the desktop and I have to click the Reset, then sometimes, after the Bootlogo shows up and disappear, it just stays in Black Screen and I have to click the Reset button again..
EDIT: found another one, I'm just browsing some apps or going to an App, then suddenly it will went black and if I click the power button, it doesn't do anything.. I have to reset it again to fix it.
EDIT 2: I fixed it by flashing the Stock Kernel Rom. seems like there's a problem on the Custom Kernel for me..Last edited by morizuki; 30 April 2015, 13:26.

thanks for this great work. I have no issues detected yet with my pipo m6 pro wifi.
Is it possible with the rom flash tool finless or the android tool to capture all settings and programs from my configurated tablet?
So that i can restore with one click the whole tablet. that would be fine. anybody knows how to do that?

I have purchased an M6Pro and got the kernel booting now. Let me have feedback on if this is better/worse than Maakie's and I'll try to respond.
This kernel has the following additional features to Maakie's:- Multiple, optional govenors
- GPS switched on (untested)
- Ex-FAT support in kernel
- USB Audio support

Antutu 5.7 rates my build (1.05.01) @ 23,955. This uses 'stock' clock speeds. Feel free to overclock.Measy U4B (=Tronsmart T428) used by my kids!

Hi d33, nice to see you have M6Pro too. I've tried your kernel build, but only flashed kernel so experienced problems.
First made a low voltage patched kernel from yours. It booted normal and Antutu gave 24K 1,7 GHz overclocked but tablet got frozen on setting light intensity.
Then flashed your kernel unmodified but no luck, no boot.
So I got back to maakie's kernel to go again. - (Which is compressed and cannot be easily patched.)
On the short trial I missed only the double tap wake feature.
Is there any particular reason why the DDR clock is set to 528 MHz? RAM in M6Pro can do 700 - 720 - 744 - 768 MHz if there is a need for that.

I have to say I'm impressed with Maakie's ROM. My kernel + Maakie's ROM I had -13% (95% down to 82%) battery usage after 2 days & 17 hours in standby, which equates to 0.2% per hour!
Regarding speed. I build to 'stock' frequencies but leave it 'open' so that users can clock as they see fit.Last edited by d33; 16 May 2015, 12:53.Measy U4B (=Tronsmart T428) used by my kids!

Yes, this ROM has quite good standby time. 4-5 days standby and 2-3 hours screen time form me with maakie kernel and ROM.
Your kernel? We will see.
Back-light is OK thank you.
GPS will not get fix. It's maybe my device's fault.
Something is not quite OK with the pinch zoom feature. It will simply not function in many cases.
Still missing the double tap to wake up feature.
Appreciate your work.
