It's fixed. Sorry about that...I inserted a capitol "I" in Pipo....and the FTP is case sensitive.

There is no problem on parameter6. I may have problem on the kernel. I need to use stock kernel to able to run Antutu. My Antutu version 5.6.1 results 25xxx only. Version 1.1 has no problem with your kernel. No need to use the stock one. I feel that the new ROM slightly faster. I will check on the location as v.1.1 has the location problem.

Update: Great, now, wifi/ 3G can show location.

Cannot connect to camera

Was already running Maakie's latest ROM with great permance results but camera would not function.

Just flashed Riley's ROM (Maakie rom + customs) and still no camera.
Got instant : Cannot connect to camera message.

Any idea's on this one ?
I already asked this a few posts ago and someone answered he didnt have the problem so maybe my cam is defective

I will have to let Maakie address that issue. I don't know what caused it.

If you want to try flashing the previous kernel and check the camera...that would narrow down the culprit.

As I answered before the camera takes exactly the ugly pictures as before using Maakie's ROM with Maakie's kernel. However my WiFi tablet is freezing dead on PIPO screen if I try to charge it in switched off state.

I'm using 3G Freaktab ROM 1.2 with parameter 6 with stock kernel. I have no issue on the camera. Everything fine to me. Location, GPS, Campass, Wifi, 3G all fine.

Same here. When charging if device is switched off : stuck on Pipo screen and only way to go ahead is to use the Reset button on the back. Both of these problems (cam and batt charge freeze) are no dealbreakers as i can charge when tab is booted and i have no use for the camera, but just wanted to mention.

Riley: i will flash tablet today with an older firmware to see if cam is working again, but i think i have a hw problem because of other 2 users reporting that cam is working fine with their tab/rom combo.

Flashed with kernel of 1.0 and cam has still same issue. So its a HW problem because it worked flaweless with 1.0

Weird thing: switched off charging still freeze of death , even with kernel 1.0
I'm shure that worked before because I often charged my tablet when switched off.

I'll open my tab this afternoon so i can have look at the camera.

Camera fixed !
Like i said, it was a HW issue.
The connector of the camera was loose.
Strangly enough, the yellow-ish tape on top of it was still firmly attached.
So i reseated the connector and voila.... camera ok now... nothing to do with the ROM !
If it happens again , i'll glue it

Yes this particular item seems blocked for sale in france. Neither the italian/ american/ spanish **** page works. I suspect it is because this antenna catches Channel 14 (Illegal in France) LOL.

I got around the protection to see the page and I am pretty sure this is a wifi antenna only. Intel-6205-6250 boards are wifi only. You get 2 because the board is dual band.

As I said earlier, I think FatFreddyDK kept bluetooth because the original antenna is still in there. I tend to think the better Wifi signal FatFreddyDK got is not because this antenna was put on top of the existing one (without soldering it if i understood well) but because the Metallic back-cover was removed (i.e: anyone with back cover removed gets better wifi. That is basically what FatFreddy did).

Does this not ship to France?
In the description it says wifi and bluetooth but I dont know for sure.
