I think you also have to add the below line in boot ramdisk init.rc
setprop net.tcp.buffersize.ethernet 524288,1048576,3145728,524288,1048576,2097152

or update the below line
setprop net.tcp.buffersize.wifi 524288,1048576,3145728,524288,1048576,2097152


After testing for a while i observe more smouther streaming without any packets dropped or statters.

Sound via HDMI/ Anthem D2 working

strange, i haven't seen any feedbacks here. Where have you seen the feedbacks?

Hello installed V2.0.7 and now have sound via HDMI through Anthem D2. Using tunein radio sound does drop out occasionally. Remote not working but use a mouse.
There are times when you require a remote to add favourites movies/shows on Kodi

Use the native Youtube app for 1080p. It works just fine.

Are you saying to setup SPMC to use MXPlayer as an external player? Do I simply change the playercorefactory.xml file with one that executes MXPlayer?

No. Try Mx Player all on it's own. Install Mx Player and https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ori.androsamba and let me know if you still need help.

With Wasser 2.0.7 the random audio mutes seem to be gone. I lose all HDMI audio connection when I turn off my TVs and AV Receivers. It requires a reboot to fix the issue. I don't know if that's something that can be fixed or not. I am noticing random reboots with 2.0.7 that was fixed in 2.0.6. I could let 2.0.6 play movies for 24 hours without a reboot. This was the first image that allowed that. I am testing this on 4 Tronsmart R28's and the results are consistent across all 4.

Man, would you mind to elaborate how you have managed to get audio working from hdmi and spidf at the same time ? I miss this feature when comparing to my pc setup.

Wasser, you made it again. Audio works FINE! No random mutes, audio passthrough works too. I can actually have audio from spidf and hdmi at the same time (it is cool because I do not need to go to settings to change whenever I want to use my audio receiver or my TV speakers).

Many thanks man! I didn't test the FHD Youtube but I would like to know if it is possible to have 4K. I do not understand why We can actually play 4K videos but not 4k videos on youtube (and until now, FullHD).

I am using 100mb Cache on Ram on SPMC and it is actually play fine (not at 60fps on the streams)

Random mute is still there. Also on the YouTube 4K, most their UHD on the site encoded in VP9 which the RK3288 does not officially support yet. I can play vp9 videos but with stutters that make it unwatchable.

1080p YouTube works great.

I agree. The random mute happens on apps that don't use the passthrough audio. Youtube seems to cause it for me. I only installed Youtube, Mx Player, and SPMC when I rebuilt last. I paused an SPMC video, let it sit for 4 hours, minimized it and opened Youtube. I noticed that the sound on the Android had been muted.

Yes I also noticed it muting but luckily I use optical so the sound didn't go off.

Wasser, I found a way to reproduce the audio muting. If you play a movie with passthrough over HDMI bitstream at some point during that movie the audio becomes muted on the Android OS. The audio is only muted for non passthrough audio like Youtube. The passthrough audio is not muted. So when I close out of the movie and try to use Youtube I notice the audio is muted for stereo audio (non passthrough audio). I'm using SPMC or Mx Player to play my movies. Hope that helps.

I have something of the same problem. Passthrough works great in SPMC, no movie stutter, dropouts or muting. But when I use addons with normal stereo audio like Spotify or YouTube, it seems like the R28 tries to passthrough the stereo audio aswell. My receiver is showing PCM2.0 and the audio is dropping out and in every 30s or so. It works great without dropouts when i change the android settings to normal instead of HDMI Bitstream, but then I get the random muting after some time.. It would be nice to not have to switch between HDMI Bitstream and normal output when I use SPMC and YouTube. And ofcourse to get rid of the random muting.

We have a problem from Turkey. Some paytv android platforms doesnt work on beelink r89 with wasser roms. So, root is problem, tv platforms dosent access , rooted device. We need to solve this problem. I paid a lot of money , I will pay it next year, I can watch sat platform, but I need your help. No one knows the solve it. Please fix it . For example dsmartblu , digiturk diledigin yerde apks.
