      echo 2 > /sys/class/audiodsp/digital_raw

Is HD Audio working after entering them?
My stick will be arriving today and I will be testing for you. I have an A/V receiver so I should be able to give you the feed back you need. I also will be using a USB Ethernet adapter instead of using the wifi.
This is the stick I will be getting today, hope it is the same one that you are using.

        returnig back to android?

        Hi all.

I've been waiting for thge possibility of running this awesome work from SD (I need some app from android) but no luck. I've decided to flash openelec and going back to android on demand, but I need to be sure that this can be done.

I guess that the only cahnce to do this is running TWRP from SD, make an nandroid backup, then flashing Openelec, but this is the tricky step Is it possible after that of running again TWRP from SD or the uboot has been changed? so this possibility is vahished?

If hopefully TWRP work after openelec, can I make a backup using TWRP, an this way can be switch between 2 backups?

        Iĺl appreciate any help.

        Thanks all

I received my MK808B Plus Amlogic M805 about 3 hours ago. I tried the stock rom with a USB to Ethernet adapter, but it was very slow, less than 2Mbps download, swapped with another one that was in use on another device, it was a little better, but still slow. less than 6 Mbps download speed.

Loaded your OpenELEC-Amlogic.MK808B.Plus.arm-5.0.5-20150309 on to it. First thing I noticed is that it is missing the tvheadend server. I was going to use this box as a stand alone DVR using tvheadend as the TV server.

I also, notice that the USB Ethernet adapter works, just like under Android very slow.

I am using OpenELEC on my Tronsmart S89H and it has the tvheadend server installed. Would it be possible to install it on your next version.

Also, is it possible to fine tune the USB Ethernet adapter.

          thanks

After using my MK808B Plus for a few hours now running kszaq's latest OpenELEC, I am a little disappointed. My wifi is slow and my Ethernet adapter is just as slow. I can't even stream a DVD quality video file from my NAS without constant buffering.

What are you using for connectivity and how does it work? If you are using an Ethernet adapter, what brand and where did you purchase it?

            thanks.

Using wifi. The last movie I streamed from my home server was over wifi. 16GB hevc h.265 file. No skips, audio was in sync. I also stream kids cartoons constantly with no issues (720p).
I have a usb ethernet adapter en route. Not sure if I really need it or not but I will try it and see how it works, from Gearbest.

What type of wireless router are you using?

I just tried the wifi again and it seems to be working now without buffering as much, still buffers but not as bad as it was earlier. Strange. I tried two different USB Ethernet adapters and both were very bad.

Thanks for confirming it is working well with your router, I was ready to toss it in the drawer for a few weeks until they get drivers working for OpenELEC.

I was missing the tvheadend server from this OpenELEC for my MK808B plus, so csmith from the AVS forum helped me. He pointed me to this link (http://unofficial.addon.pro/), and it worked, I now have tvheadend server running on my Android stick.

The only thing left now for a stand alone DVR is for the USB Ethernet adapter to work. I am using wifi, but it is not desirable.

I have dvb-t stick, what was supported with openelec 5.0.5 and raspberry pi, I try to connect to my MXQ, but tvheadend isnt see it.
All drivers inside what supported by raspberry pi?

                          @kszaq regarding the below

Unchecking that allows videos to play without interference, but on the downside, 1080P video is choppy. 720P video seems to play okay.
The issue persist , if enabling AMLCODEC on the screen when starting a an HD quality video material the video get runing ok in the foreground but a nasty window is overlays over the video.

Disabling AMLCODEC doen allow to play FULL HD content as the image is choppy and in slow motion.
Question is anyone else having similar behavior with their MK808B plus device?

From what i have read on some russian forum this stuff was solved with (kerber) kernel for MXQ.
the problem is that in DMESG | Paste nothing is visible ... related to this issue.

                              Hello,
I bought a new Manhattan HDMI cable and now CEC is working right with my Panasonic VT60.
                              Thanks!

I have only one problem..now it's working too well:
I need that MK808B Plus will be always on,
but when I turn off my TV the MK808BPlus go into sleep mode (or it turn off, I dont know)

There is a way to disable this behavior ?

                              Thanks

Do you have access to the Peripherals setting in Settings -> System -> Input Devices? That's where my TV shows up with the settings for CEC on my Pi. I don't have CEC working on my system yet.
