kszaq With the settings i use for CEC . "6.95.2.1" is working perfectly.

I dont use suspend. I dont like the TV to be powered ON or OFF with the box.

Using my TV remote the only benefit is i can Pause/Stop/Ffw/Rw/Navigate GUI Without bringing up OSD.

I have POWER OFF/REBOOT/SUSPEND Working with this version.

mwp1 Please note if you reboot the box and tv does not respond to commands,
Turn TV power off and turn TV back on. It will work again.
This is with my settings of course as my box does not turn off when the TV turns off and vice versa.

I can help with further testing if required even though i have it working perfectly except with suspend issue which i don't use.

I tried rebooting the box, and I tried turn box off via power menu, turn on via power button (MXV box have it), and the buffering problem always happen. In both cases, turning TV off/on didn't help. In one occasion, the buffering reached 2 commands!
But I think I find out something interesting. The buffering problem does not happen if I really power off the box, unpluging the power cord.
Edit: All of this with 6.95.2.1 HD18Q SD

Just realised you have a different box to mine.
I am a little confused that you are using the HD18Q Version and not the ARM which is for your box ???
Is yours the red stripe version ??

Actually arm is the processor family. MXV is not supported box, but is working great with HD18Q version.

I think the problem with the "not suspend" on MXQ 6.95.2.2 (suspend and instant awakening) associated with Watchdog (default setting) If you delete it, suspend works, if install again works not every time. Thanx.

Just to clarify something and make sure you understand me.
There are 2 Versions of Kszaq's OpenELEC which is available.
They are both Arm Hardware. The one i use works for my All Black MXQ.
It is named MXQ.arm-6.95.2.1 On Nand.
You are using the HD18Q on an MXV S805.
It is important for people to name their Board And Model Number at the bottom of their posts including
whether they are running off the SD card or running Nand version.
Otherwise it is confusing for anyone trying to help each other especially those with matching hardware
and software.
Sorry if i sound too lecturing.

kszaq I've noticed on 6.95.2.1 if I turn the TV off and leave my box running sometimes when I turn my TV back on it won't detect the box which means I have to hard-boot the box to get it to appear again! Just thought I'd mention it. Will update to 6.95.2.2 tomorrow and see if the problem persists. LG TV, Simplink is off and MXQ has CEC disabled.

A new test build with minor changes:

• I identified a little issue in the new CEC driver which might have been causing command buffering. I implemented a workaround for it and I would like to ask mwp1 and kostaman to test CEC both before and after suspend. PatrickJB please also test this build and not 6.95.2.2, this one should work better and has a fix for video/audio sync issue.
• removed amvideocap from m201d builds to regain 6MB of RAM
• disabled hw watchdog in device trees to hopefully fix immediate wakeup after suspend (this is for VictorDUA to test)

Thanks dude. Will test out the m201d sd build soon. In regards to the u_boot.bin, Im pretry sure someone else here who has the same board as me (v3_1) has an untouched android system and they too reported only having 512meg of ram. OE runs fine with that amount of ram as you suggested it would. Just to confirm, after you looked at the photos of my board again, you are saying I do in fact have 1gig physical ram yes?

Hello kszaq. Unfortunatelly, CEC is still not working with this test build. Sometimes it happens the command buffering, sometimes TV does not recognize the box, and sometimes after power off / power on, it works perfectly, until next reboot.
What I noticed is that when the command buffering happens, if I wait around 8 seconds, the buffered command is executed, but the next command is buffered again (for 8 seconds).
And after suspend, it is still showing the message: Not possible to start CEC adapter.

I have an MXV and I am trying to run Openelec HD18Q 6.0.3.5 on a SD card and I am unable to get mine to boot into Openelec. It just turns off when I turn it on. Does it matter what version of android I am running?

kszaq Updated OK, will get back to you if I see any bugs. Remember I don't use CEC but I was getting a blank screen, no input detected, when switching TV on when the box was already on in version 6.95.2.1. It may take me a day or two to confirm this problem is sorted.
