MK808 "all models" Finless 1.7

HI BOB!

BT/ USB center 6 not compatible, combination can not be assigned to (xbox 360 controller not detected ) :/
what can I do?

1. Probably just me but having quite a few lockups in XBMC and while watching although I assume thats my server.

2. once i hide the menu bar in xbmc I cant find how to unhide it and the mouse cursor is off once hidden

3. the sleep mode will not awake on when I use my wireless mouse.

4. tried the shutdown app but nothing happened

5. Where do I change the wallpaper? its no longer in display settings menu

2 just drag it from bottom of the screen (works with cursor), it will pop up again
3 Most likely because PC-sticks turns off any wireless communication in sleep mode? I guess the same thing would happen with notebook in sleep + bluetooth mouse... Just what did you expect?
4 use shutdown in options -> application, then find that app and shut it down
5 just long press on "desktop", you will be given options to set background (if you use the regular JB launcher)

Hi Bob,
Thank you for the great work version 1.7 is very well polished and look professional.
I liked all the features that you added to it. Now I can play games using my PS3 gamepad, XBMC in full screen, many android apps. Yay.

I also found an interesting article on xda-developers about how to reduce the lag in games and some application by tweaking the random data. I dont know if you already implement that or maybe in the future updates. here is the link for the article:

Problems with some games (several actually)

Hi everyone, first, thanks Bob for the great FW ! It's really good and I only have 2 issues and maybe someone can help me with them:

1) Some games, several actually, get stuck when you have to select CONTINUE or SINGLE PLAYER, basically, I can see all buttons on the screen, but cannot touch them. Does anyone experienced this problem ? I detected the problem on this games (as examples): SHADOWGUN, Flashout 3D and there was another racing game that now I don't remember the name...

2) I know that some games support 3D Side by Side but without Android 3D support it's impossible to activate it... I don't need framep 3D, only Side by Side will be enough and should be able to work on any device (I even use it now in Youtube with actual firmware), so, is it possible to activate it someway in the current fw version or it's a kernel thing ?

1 - Cursor press doesn't equal touch screen press in most games => most games don't even register cursor - still can play some games with rkremotetool on your android phone (but it is shitty that you can't see what are you pressing) - even G sensor works

EDIT: i found solved, i panic and not read this "1) Make sure you connect to a real USB port from the PC. NOT a USB hub or maybe even front panel USB ports!"

Not sure if that has to be 100% true in every case, definitely depends on motherboard and drivers.

Question for @FinlessBOB - is the sounds sluttering in games caused by "failure" in kernel by any chance? I mean, even on a phone, when i have FPS drops, the audio stays Fine. Would there be any way how to fix that?

Run it with stock ROM before flashing? Look at the box to see if it is really Bluetoothfree version? I mean these are pretty basic ideas, man , but just to be sure if it is not the clone version, there are some cognitive signs that will "tell" you if it is or not the clone (I just think this, i have the non-clone version - you'd better look through threads about clones)

Bluetooth button on mk808

Hi,

First, thank you for the rom, it's amazing as usual!

I have an issue with my MK808 (without bluetooth). I flashed the finless 1.7 and i see in the settings the button "bluetooth". When i try to activate it, it goes right to the off position although i have a bluetooth dongle plugged in my mk808.
Is it normal?

I'm kind of depressed having bought the non bluetooth version and not being able to make it work with a dongle .

BT dongles has always been a problem for ROM developers.
