Stock browser crashing:
The stock browser is really junk in my opinion. I do not use it. I install Chrome. I also use Opera. However your the only person reporting it crashing. Is it on a specific web page maybe?
If I could repeat the problem then I possibly could figure out why.
Do you know how to dump logcat?
Bob
It seems random. But with this page : http://www.ownta.com/1080p-hdd-media...mygica-r6.html the browser crashes often.
I have a logcat file :

Hello Bob ... I am first time finless user and everything works great for me. Including SKYPE with webcam.
I am unable to mount NFS shares. CIFS / SAMBA works fine. Any reason why the NFS filesystem support is not included ?
I did some research and found that I can add support by insmod of 3 files namely nfs.ko , sunrpc.ko and lockd.ko ...
Would you be able to tell where I can get the files from for this kernel ?
I tried getting the files from a different source in xda forums, but they were not compatible with this kernel.
Any help or directions will help ...
Thank you very much for this ROM. I am trying to setup NFS so that I can get rid of my other media players. The only way to stream 30 GB mkv rips over WiFi is NFS. CIFS / Samba offer way low bitrates.

Thank You, and suggestions
Hi.
First, thank you for a very nice ROM, that makes the MK808 better. And kudos on your skills :-p
Second, as a user, I could suggest the following extra features / bug fixes, some of which you clearly don't own, but might be able to fix anyway, with luck ?
1- A way to control sleep. My MK808 kept falling asleep during long game downloads (some are 1GB+ !). I set the screen sleep to 30 min, but it still fell asleep, and still quicker than that. The only way I found around that is to either keep playing with the mouse for hours on end, or start a movie and walk away.
2- ES File Explorer doesn't seem to recognize Google Video Player, only Video Player.
3- which is a problem because Video player has no option to NOT display embedded subtitles. You get a choice of which subtitles, but not "none".
4- There is a network issue, my Windows server had issues authenticating me, and then accepted my login but showed empty folders after the first time. I have no clue where the bug comes from (netcode, File Explorer, Windows, MAC adress...)
Again, thanks, congratulations, and best regards,
Olivier

When you install a new busybox it asks you where you want to install. I think it defaults to xbin.
So what you should probably do is use ES file explorer and delete the busybox in /xbin and install the new to /bin. Or visa versa. which ever you prefer.

I'm renaming it for time being to see if the system complains...

Bob
Busybox installer still sees more than one copy of busybox installed, but the rename/replace procedure must have cleared out some cached links as Trickster MOD now no longer complains about seeing the v1.11.1 exe, which is fine with me!

I am not sure what you are doing but why can I install an updated busybox no problems?
Yes you cannot change busybox in /sbin because it is in boot.img and whatever you do, boot.img will change it back. This is why you cannot edit init.rc either!
But as I said, busybox or ANY APP that uses it should not care what is in /sbin. So your having some other issue my friend.
