Excellent rom Bob!! Just flashed this today no problems so far.

I used the 1080p kernel from your 1.7...overclocked to 1.6ghz and stable.. so far. I modded with heat-sink and bigger case w/ omni-directional wifi antenna (full-bars)!!

-XBMC works fine as does Netflix
-Installed Button Savior from the market (a must have if you hide the task bar)
-sleep mode works (if you have RC11 air mouse, just hit the power button.
-i also installed Null Keyboard it makes the on screen keyboard go away.

Nice boot screen!!

First off, love the rom. Thanks for all the hard work. Secondly, how do I restore the status bar after is hidden with a keyboard?

You should download Button Savior from the playstore.. it puts a tiny transparent trigger in the corner of the screen..when you click it, it brings a tiny taskbar up. I know your looking for a keyboard solution but I hope this helps.

Hi all,
I have flashed new Finless ROM 1.8 with repaired libstagefright.so file. Movies playback now goes fine via MX Player and BS Player, but via XBMC some movies are still not go smoothly. I don´t understand why. Where is the problem? Thanks for reply.

The problem is with xbmc itself, it's still somewhat beta and there still working out H/W accelleration.

I just flashed my mk809 (ug802 clone) with Finless 1.8 wifi works but max download speed is 2Mb (my internet speed is 20Mb) I recieved my device yesterday and flashed with this rom for wifi and other benefits but there is no wifi improvements for me. I like this rom and i dont want to go back to stock rom. Included video player play 1080p video smooth (cartoon for my daughter and was choppy in stock rom). Nice job BOB. I notice after reboot my wifi is allways off i have to power off and on again to wifi start working.

very good rom I try it on my Mk802 3, and 1080from your 1.7. the only problem is when I use auto hide bar, mx player bar will be very hard to use since it dissappear very fast.

yes, I use 1080p kernel and boot. everything is smooth. Just the hide bar function work not very good In xbmc and will make some problem. But when I disable from setting. still no arrow button from the function bar.

After you feedback I've flashed but with 720p ....
Unfortunately for mk802III there are not (recently) Rom specifically for this device

firmware for UG007

Hello Bob!
thank you for your fantastic work!
Several posts above you said that if someone gives you link to stock firmware of UG007 you can make a custom rom especially for this device.
So the last official ROM is there http://www.kuyoule.cn/upload/update_99753.zip
I try on my UG007 ROM for Imito 1.5 1080 and Measy 1.7 1080. They work fine but maybe if you look the stock ROM for our device you can do a miracle with it?
Thank you in advance. I can test ROM and recommend the ROM on other site where many users of UG007 discussing the device.

If I can help you too....with my experince. It's depending on which modell have you got? If you have got UG802 with Realtek8188 the wifi will not work under 1.8 fw.

I really don't have a way to know which wifi without taking it apart, so I took a chance, and it worked.

I can confirm that webcam is working (including MIC) with Logitech C270.
It's great for Skype video calls
