Yes it is for gigabit lan.

    1000 megabits = 1 gigabit = 125 megabytes per second.
100 megabits per second = 12.5 megabytes per second

Are you getting 100 megabytes per second or only 10 megabytes per second?
If you only get 10 megabytes per second, maybe try another cable?

I'm getting 9 megabytes per second with a cat6 cable. Is there any way to check if the adapter is working in 100BASE-T or 1000BASE-T mode?

      EDIT:
The problem was the Devolo 500 PLC adapter. It seems to have only 100Mbit port. I tried with a gigabit switch and i get ~850megabit/s.

Thank you very much for your rom it works very very good

          Root your device with towelroot.
Go into ES File Explorer, enable r/w for / and /system in the bottom settings.
          Enable superuser access.
Go to / folder then system folder, then media, audio, delete boot.ogg file.

this is excellent, just upgraded to 1.7! was hoping that it would solve my issue of the mac address changing every reboot on the wired ethernet. is that something i can disable? i use mac address control and have to allow it after every reboot. cheers.

To solve your changing mac address, you can follow the instructions here
                http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...636#post524636

I don't put a mac address otherwise IPTV apps that require a different mac address for each device don't work as everyone has the same mac address then.

thanks for the quick response, I suppose t hat makes sense. strange that it doesn't pick up the hardware mac address on the nic, like everything else ever.

The manufacturers need to buy mac addresses for each device and then burn it into each device.
It is just cheaper and easier to not do it.
                    But easily fixable yourself.

I need 2 testers for my new ROM.
It will be a Lollipop ROM with latest Rockchip Kodi support.
I need people to test video playback and passthrough support.
Want people with HPH RK3288 devices that had passthrough issues on previous firmware.
Will finish the ROM in a day or so.

Thank you very much for your work! I'm willing to try it.

Could you also upload it in a single .img file in order to test it from an SD Card?

It will be a single img file.
Should be able to flash from an SD Card, but it's not an SD Card Bootable firmware.(There is a tool to make it one).
