How about the audio stutter in the Linux version, have you managed to fix it? Thanks

          I'm still testing that.
In a browser or audio player there are no problems with audio, it's only with Kodi.
Might be a problem with libhybris, that's a bit too advanced for me to troubleshoot.
          Also asked Mac for updates.

Bluesmanuk, I also have a tronsmart r28 meta and just flashed the 1.6 rom. I am experiencing the shutdown through spmc and it turns off but light stays blue. So in order to turn on again, I have to unplug AC cord and back in to power on.

If you don't mind, can you give me the steps to flash just the kernel and resource img?

Load the parameter file in Android Flash Tool but keep unchecked.
Check kernel & resource.img and select the correct paths.
                Click run/flash.
Must also be in flash mode/loader mode by pressing reset button and holding it in.

May I ask a dumb question and where would I find the parameter file? When I open the AndroidTool.exe it has a path to the parameter already pre-loaded in a directory rockdev/...... I assume you have it set to autoload that file?

Unpack the firmware update.img with the last tab in the flash tool.
It will create a new directory in the flash tool directory.
Load the parameter file from there but keep the checkbox unchecked in the flash tool.
But load and check the kernel & resource.img and 'run' to flash.

I heard there will probably be a new package to test Kodi Linux next week with HEVC and other things.
If it works better than I will make a dual-boot ROM.

New Android ROM plays videos stutter free that other users have trouble with

I've never needed to load the parameter file in order to flash a new kernel and resource.

For most ROM's it's not necessary since the kernel/resource.img use the same address.
