Can you tell me, what did you do to improve stability in your Android build? I'm trying OpenELEC on the i5, and besides the lockups, it seems to be compatible with the MXQ build.

I received my i5 yesterday and it is different than the one in this thread.
It has two regular size USB ports, no SD card slot and an "AV jack.

Is this a new version or an old version?
It also came with a Chinese interface :-(
Does anyone know how I can choose the English language?

So after some digging it looks like they actually sent me the Inphic P8,
The specs seem to be
allwinner h3
mali 450
512M ROM
8GIG EMMC
From what I can tell this isn't available in the North America market so I am wondering if there is anything I can do.

It is also running YUNOS at the moment. :-(

Hi, the SPOT i5 from this topic will work in Canada. But that P8... it is H3 with YunOS. Has the seller told you something?

The seller says they can't get the spot i5 anymore so we are trying to find another S805 box to take it's place.
That makes me sad though because the i5 looks really good and the i7 looks even better.

I got the P8 from Dinodirect. It looks like they are trying to make it right now.

It looks like the Fick P8 might be similiar, does anyone have any firmware and/or instructions on how to get english on it or upgrade it?

Good afternoon, I have a problem. My i5 constantly freezes, put on a patch for the firmware recommendations 20151218, like more or less the same but immediately hangs when trying to play games. Updated system at the December (28 December 2015), it became more freezes, and the patch does not helps. Even now hangs in the normal use. What is the problem ? a feeling that the problem is in hardware, or just in a bad optimization?

This should fix your freezing problems.

tanks kevin1341 , can it upgrade from ota or it need to be burned from special software from PC ? In recovery mode usualy screens that its "UNsigned" ?

I don't know if is working on ota.
If you can use USB Burn Tool from here :-http://www.inphic.com/downloads/download/18-burning-tool
If you have not used it before I will find tutorial for you.
