LibreELEC & OpenELEC for Tronsmart Vega S95

    OK, I've been reading and flipping pages like crazy... Can't there be a first post that gets edited with all relevant info and links?

    Anyway, I have a Tronsmart Vega S95 Meta. I have OpenELEC installed on the eMMC. So no android anymore or anything.
    Now I want to install LibreELEC. How do I proceed? I can't even find the post I used to install OE to the eMMC... I need some help here

        To do a clean install using SD card/USB drive and then transfer Libreelec internal memory: 1. Download file with img.gz extension from -> https://yadi.sk/d/srrtn6kpnsKz2/Libreelec . Select the version of Libreelec you want to install. 2. Download the LibreELEC USB-SD Creator -> https://wiki.libreelec.tv/index.php?...USB-SD_Creator 3. Get a SD card or USB stick and format it FAT 32. 4. Insert SD card or USB stick into your computer. 5. Open LibreELEC USB-SD Creator you downloaded from step 2. 6. In the  LibreELEC USB-SD Creator skip the YELLOW number 1 step. Go to the PINK number 2 step. 7. Click SELECT FILE and navigate to where you downloaded you Libreelec.img.gz file from step 1. 8. In the LibreELEC USB-SD Creator on the BLUE number 3 step select your SD card or USB stick drive. 9. In the LibreELEC USB-SD Creator on the GREEN number 4 step click Write. 10. Once the image finishes writing to the USB stick or SD card click the CLOSE button to exit the LibreELEC USB-SD Creator. If you see an immediate "Write error" please check the write-protect tab on the SD card. This puts the card into read-only mode and writing will fail. 11. Eject your SD card or USB stick from your computer and insert it into your Tronsmart. Use the toothpick method to boot your Tronsmart. If it just keeps cycling back to the Tronsmart logo and will not boot into Libreelec, unplug your Tronsmart and plug it back in WITHOUT using the toothpick method and it should boot into Libreelec. 12. Verify Libreelec runs correctly from the SD card or USB stick and shutdown your Tronsmart. 13. Take the SD card or USB stick out of your Tronsmart and insert it back into your computer. 14. Navigate to your SD card or USB stick drive on your computer. 15. Look for the file called "install.sh" and rename it to "install.aml" 16. Eject your SD card or USB stick from your computer. 17. Insert your SD card or USB stick back into your Tronsmart and power your Tronsmart on. 18. Wait about 20 seconds and Libreelec files will start copy to your internal memory of your Tronsmart. Process takes about 1 minute to complete. 19. Once install to internal memory is complete, you will have to install all add-ons as your cache and userdata will be wiped.

          I tried all dbt.img, do not work.

          works with dbt.img of Telos_Meta_OpenELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-Vega_S95-6.95.3.img.xz

          the model is mxqpro+ (plus)

                the dtb.img (MXQPRO+) of latest release 7.0.3.012 build for S905/S905X ( kszaq)
                now works from sdcard.

                but Telos_Meta_OpenELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-Vega_S95-6.95.3.img.xz
                is it seems more stable.

                I tried installtointernal of libreelec script and it works, but sometimes the reboot does not start and remains on AMLogic logo.
                I tried installtointernal of libreelec script on OpenELEC and does not work.
                How do I install Telos_Meta_OpenELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-Vega_S95-6.95.3.img.xz
                on nand flash?

                        Hi guys, I've searched but still not sure how to procede. I've got a Tronsmart Vega S95 Telos that has been running OE from SD-card for the past six months. Now I would like to upgrade to LibreElec while keeping my library, settings, watched starus and add-ons intact.
                        What is the easiest way to do this, if at all possible?

                          balbes150 , HI Tronsmart Team, I can use you help, it seem I have brick my META Box, but I can see the blue light on the box each time that I powered the box (META), I had installed LE into Internal memory, everything was working fine until I chose to update with Kazaq LE, what happen is I used an incorrect life, immediate after the installed my box will not boot into LE anymore, but I can still see the power light come up, but nothing is display on my TV screen. Pls what can be done to resolved this issue so my box can power into LE

                            As far as I know, this is not possible automatically. Settings from OE you can try to migrate manually. How to do this - I do not know. This information is better to look at the forum LE.

                              If multiboot is not working - then You have to look for the USB cable and reflash the firmware.

                                I would like to reflash, I do have USB2USB, so where do I find the image to reflash s905-META and instructions.
