well I must be lucky with my processer and gpu because I am running this kernel "720p 1.8Ghz Ram 1500Mhz Gpu 800Mhz kernel" and everything works fine. I did hesitate whether to release the gpu overclock, but I thought everyone deserved the chance to try. I can up the voltage but I do not recommend it. Sorry guys, I did try. I'm running the OC gpu, 1.9ghz and max ram kernel with Finless 4.2 on the Cx919. Apart from having no blueooth or wifi (I use ethernet for inet) , I find it pretty much perfect.

Using the highest oc 720 and video works perfectly.
I too get a low gpu score on antutu 3d~ 3600, but it might be the stock power supply.

Unfortunately even on this kernel I have this same result in antutu (4000 GPU, 18000 overall). I tested this kernel:


Probalby I will try build my own kernel or I RMA it. Probably I have damaged gpu because on every kernel and even on 1400MHz CPU max my mxplayer crash (momentairly exit from app or video freeze) and this same is on flash video... even bsplayer has problems with video

try a stock rom, then you can know if something wrong with custom kernel or firmware.

I always have some video play problem on NEOMode ROM(screen blurred),after flash back to stock rom,problem is gone.

...1080p 1.9Ghz Ram 1600Mhz Gpu 800Mhz kernel Antutu scores 17937...

with ANTUTU V3.4 i'm getting 16551, no force closed app / reebot ... works fine.

About playing video, i'm getting the strange "mouse effect"
when the mouse curser is on screen : smooth , when it's off : choppy ( very choppy on a 720p MKV )
can you tell me wich video player you use ( if it's Mx player, what are the best settings on it ) ?

I use MX Player with the MX Player Codec (ARMv7 NEON) and it works fine. Can you give me a link to the video file that you are testing please, if it does not come from legitimate sources pm me the link

Great score sam!!!

Best I got was 19426, with the "old" 720p 1.9ghz ram 1500mhz extreme overclocked kernel. I can't get the one with the 800mhz gpu overclock working properly, antutu benchmark will fc once it starts testing the gpu

Great score, my better one was 18352 in qx1 but in 1080p with 1898cpu 1500ram 798gpu.

I noticed that gpu overclock put the stick much hotter, so like sam advice take care about temperature and add extra cooling.

Video ok ! I activate de DNLA server on my VU+ and use Mx Player .
(don't work whith Archos video player by smb so I prefer my MK808B for that)

Antutu stop at 27%.

it seams to work well exept offcurs that there is no wifi.

i get about 16000 in antutu
