dit any one test this yet? if this works can we expect that the kernal for AP6210 will get this to?

i would love to see a 1080p kernal with a fix for the frame skipping

First of all, HI to the community!

For the last hour or two I em trying to boot up MK802-IV with sam321's test fix kernel. Sadly i have no luck. My device wont boot up and it get stuck-freezed on splash screen.

Have tried bunch of sams321's OC kernels and all worked just fine - this wont =/ Maybe i em doing something wrong considering MK802-IV as my 1st mini PC.

Would love to report my results in if i could make it work.

              1080p no overclock http://www.cloudstor.es/file/m1_NDYwMw/

thanks a lot to phjanderson for the fix.

going to update the overclocking options and this fix included. I am just waiting for more feed back as it takes quite a bit of effort and I just want to get it right the first time

I've just tested the 1080P version and it works fine
The "killa sample" runs fine now, totaly SMOOTH ! ( MXplayer lags on some other 1080p mkv that i've tried, but these videos play correctly on other video player : MXplayer sucks )
                Thanks a lot
I'm ready for the overclocked versions of it !!!
PS: didn't test the bluetooth but wifi works
PS²:when i turn off the stick with the menu bar ... it boots up a few second later ? not sure it commes from this kernel but i've just noticed it now (i'm using the NEOTV rom )

                  Re: overclocked kernel is here

I've tested 1080 kernel and there is frame skiping. I'll go back to strauzo kernel to avoid this problem

we are still refining the video fix, I find the 720p to give the best video performance, of course if you use a 1080p kernel the system has to render thousands more pixels which does slow down the stick. People that are interested why not come over and help out testing

I have updated all the kernel options with the video fix and created a new thread in the Kernel Development section, come and have a look http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...h-RTL8188-WiFi

Sorry for a very annoying question but just opened up my Cozyswan S400 and I have the RTL8188ETV (others seem to have the AP6210 wifi chip or the Realtek 8189 from BrunoNRG post in the first page). Is there a 720p no overclocking kernel available with phjanderson's stutter fix for this? Thanks!

Edit: ignore this I have found your fixed kernel for the Cozyswan S400. Might be worth updating the first post Sam321 to remove the Cozyswan part?

after some help from phjanderson I can now confirm that it is possible to overclock the gpu, I have been running my stick with the gpu oc to 800Mhz for most of the day, I can finally say that I am happy with my stick now
