Can you show me a picture of your cooling heatsinks and fans for your stick?

yes but bare in mind it is not pritty :-P i used waht i had laying around.

it is made from a box (for scrudrivers) and som heatzink i had for an old gts8800 gfx card cooling system.
plus i put on a antenna from a old router.

i still need a zinkblock to change the stock one as it is not wary good. even using a fan on it dos not give me a cool device under full load.
also it would be good to get better zink than the one i used!! bare in mind this i made from stuff i hade in my drawer. ill be going tru my garage one of theas days to find some better stuf for it )

I use the 720P kernel 1.8Ghz -1200Mhz ram with frameskip fix
but halfway the movies I stream , Wifi fails and stops the streaming
even when I have 3 out of 4 lines of wifi signal
(Mx player, Archos all do the same )

What is the best way to improve Wifi signal
mod the antenna or add an external one ?
or could this be another cause

(I need to disable and re-enable to be abel to continue the movies)

Another question : can these sticks output 5.1 sound (dts ?)
Archos is asking for codecs even for AC3 ($$$)

I have been working on something this last day or so and now it is time to share it with everyone. This android stick suffers from a lack of good roms, there is only really neomode working on it and there are no android 4.1.1 custom firmware out there. So I present to you a ported rom,all thanks go to the original author of this rom, I have just made it work on our sticks. This is the fastest rom that I have known,

the android version is android 4.1.1

on first boot the screen may stay blank, do not unplug the stick, the recovery is working at this time setting up the system. Wait at least five minutes before unplugging the stick, but you should not have to do this

I got a PCB antenna from old PCMICA Wireless Card SMC 2532W.

And I open the plastic of wireless card cut the antenna in the middle,so the antenna become two same antenna,I used only one

And put the antenna inside the stick,The signal becomes very good.
the rest antenna（almost same as I put inside the stick)

I think you can look for a antenna from old mobile or ......It is good to put inside the stick.

Just went out for a smoke got back in and my 2 twins (1 year old) playing with my stick.

So after i got the drull ( mouth watter) off it and the heatzink back on it wont boot, connect to pc or nything at all

That is wahts coms of smoking

Well maby wen i get a new android stick there will be some nice roms and kernels for me to try.

I am still hoping it will boot if it get som time but i doubt it.

Your wifi/bt chip is AP6210.So choose the right rom&kernel.

I am waiting for it.

Nope I have the old one.
I tried flashing without deleting nand first, then I had to restore original rom to get it to work.
Flashed again with nand delete and it still wont boot, just says no signal.

so I have downloaded it to make sure that everything is alright, and it is working perfectly fine. are you flashing the entire rom with ROM_Flash_Tool_137.exe and erasing IDB first


How to flash
1. connect your stick to your pc and tv and put it into flash mode. using the reset button or by using the reboot app on your stick, and choosing reboot to bootloder button


2. run ROM_Flash_Tool_137.exe on your pc and then click erase NAND (IDB) button and wait for it to finish


3. then click Flash Rom button and wait for it to finish, do not unplug your stick from your pc or tv now on your tv recovery should come up and it will automaticaly set up the system

Still not working.
What I did:
1. flash stock rom, let it boot.
2. reboot to bootloader erase nand twice, finished ok with 2042.
3. flash rom without errors and leave it connected to the tv and pc
4. no signal even after 10 minutes
