EDIT -- ok, got it. Thanks so much. And you did some edit to build properties -- does that help a lot?
Just discovered that from the Ugoos port you can apply the stock 20170916 OTA and from that one you can apply the stock 171211 OTA 7.1.2, so no need to flash the May stock firmware first.

Yes I edited the build properties where I change the persist app to force_land, and that helped a lot.

Several live tv apps that wouldn't open, or would show a limited channel list worked perfectly after changing the build properties

Edit : After the the 20170916 OTA you need to do a factory reset

99% sure the display will not work, and it will depend on your wifi chip if that and bluetooth work. The latter can probably flashed externally, but the lcd display not

What you're waiting for to flash it on a X92 and report back?

By the way, I received the image of the stock 20171211 firmware.

How do I load it up to Mega?

Sure, my upload speed here in Thailand is horrible, so if someone could upload it to Mega.

                        https://wetransfer.com/downloads/137...7104817/1a84ce

The link will expire on 6 March, but download speed is good.

The Ugoos ports I downloaded from 4PDA all had working wifi, bluetooth and display

I wonder why when you paste a link in a post the software completely messes up the quoted post

For usb burning tool, you use firmware -> 'for firmware from PC', according to google translate. Unzip or unrar until you see something.img.
Thanks a lot bud, It worked perfectly, you just saved me two boxes

I wish there was a way to revert that 24H display to 12H. On the old and new firmware, no matter what you set it to, the display always shows it in 24H format.

Which firmware and which display ?

If you are referring to Rikomagic mk22 ROM and the LCD front display, the time display can be changed by editing /system/etc/vfdd.ini using ES File Explorer.

I think there is no easy way to change it for this ROM. May need to go to the extent of replacing the boot image.
