i simply tried to use a different but sort of "universal bootloader" i found to do a test, but that caused some issues in some memory locations (bootloader distorted for ex.) and problem for user used to flash with zip method.
So from beta 3 i reverted and used mini m8s bootloader.
Without possibility for now to decompile bootloader and recompile it i cannot understand and do more, but if i could understand more probably something could be done.

I've found this article about creating a remote.conf from scratch, and now I understand something about how the power on button could be coded in the bootloader. The example seem to correspond to a remote similar to that of mini m8sii, so we need to look for code 0xae517f80 in the bootloader. Sadly I had no luck searching with an hex editor. Maybe the bootloader is compressed or the sequence to search for is different but based on that one. Maybe you could try something. If you have the remote.conf corresponding to the testing nexbox bootloader we can find the power button code and try also with it.

Same happened me. I had to set up the USB tool and hit start first, then plug in the cable to my pc and it started. The box doesn't need the power cable plugged in it powers through USB for the process.

I do that without success. I follow every video how flash A95x withou sucess (Amlogic USB Tool, Male-Male Cable and with ou without toothpick)
I have 2 options: Try to resolve bluetooth problem or find a ROM I can flash from Recovery, which han't found (In Xannytech ROM I can reboot to Recovery from Quick boot app).

I had also the same problem trying to flash. Follow steocullen91 directions and try again. You have to press start on burn tool and then connect usb cable to the box. It should start to flash immediately. Did you flash previously the rom or installed from zip?

Use this file i posted earlier in this thread, it's done for a nexbox 1/8 but after flashing through twrp you can flash back the original nexbox fw you choose.
Just for my curiosity which version of my rom you tested? Beta or stable? Because in beta i added some BT fw.

If you never flashed before from burn tool maybe windows has not installed the box drivers. Plug the usb cable with the box powered by the power adapter and see if drivers are installed. Then try to flash like we said before.

What is usb burning tool saying when you try it? Try installing recovery using twrp manager if you have root access then install another flashable zip that way.

Xannytech I have to say I love the rom it's so fast and really stable.

The manufaturers themself have this problem so they compiled a rom just for that chip. I should do the same thing, i will do it, but not soon cause i'm very busy IRL, but assure that when i'll post the final rom i will also post a 9377 version and a nexbox version of my rom.

No the RTL driver is inside (beta), but probably it's not enough, if you can wait a little this evening when i go back home i can try to write you a procedure to try to activate it. Actually i'm not sure i have to read some lines of code, and i'm not at home.

Also cant reinstall Google play store, tried so many ways, can install Google service with 644 permission but it does not install the play store after reboot.

i flashed xanny's rom without erasing bootloader, and yet i have to press 2 to turn on my device. Does that mean the issue is not in the bootloader?

Point of the situation...
I flash my Nexbox A95X 2g/8g with Xannytech file on post #844 (used Quick Boot apk to boot recovery,
and install from EXT SD card - Strange the recovery was original android recovery, not the TWRP)

Now boot normal to Original ROM from 1G/8G without Bluetooth option on System Preference, and Switch Recovery is working.

I connect Nexbox to PC via USB cable and now USB Tool dectect nextbox, something It did not do before
(connect USB cable and then connect power cable)

So I'm on original 1G/8G ROM and will flash to a new ROM, if Xannytech have a solution to him bluetooth ROM I will flash it.
