This version is much better then I tried before on CS918 NObt, everything works fine, including power on/off, resolution and smooth UI.
PS:first time reboot if nothing output from HDMI, you should use composite video and goto setup to change screen scale(max. or min.) and reboot.

This is a rooted version, but a little different from other rooted method. After you restore this firmware, the system is totally rooted, no supersu or superuser at all.

And is the Skype working on it properly. I mean Skype does not support rooted version so far I know...
I had this issue on lewy's rom, but otherwise his rom with up to 1,8 GHz processor speed is great...
Have you compared the lewy`s rom with you have flashed just recently?

What is the difference in restoring or upgrading the rom?

Are you sure your box is CS918?? Because my cs918 didn't have mic or line-in, how can I test "voice call" for you?
By the way, I did download and install skype on cs918, and it can run and login.

Yes, I have the CS918.
There is USB port and AV out to connect a webcam with microphone to it.
I can also login to Skype, but unable to make video calls, as Skype immediately after making a call restarts.

Can you connect a webcam to your device and try it out?

I am having the same issue with this and all of lewy20041's roms currently. Im using a logitech c920. Skype used to work great. Maybe it is something in the skype apk?

I'm using a T-R42 with my logitech c270... skype works, although video doesn't seem to work for me.
