Just 2 things :
1. Why did you not post this on page one? It is going to get lost in between all the other posts...
2. How do I get the weather on the front page to work?

Added to first post now.
The new launcher was ported from a RK3328 Nougat ROM and uses Omniweather.
I still have to find a way to make it compatible with Marshmallow as I think it is a Nougat app that don't have backwards compatibility yet.

I installed new rom( v1.5) to my tronsmart R68G box
network problem fixed, now internet connection speed good
I found some problems in this rom;

1. I wanted to install an apk from usb, apk program caching to disk in one-two minute and installed. why caching to disk always?. in previous version I can install an apk directly from usb.
2. Playing videos from usb ord harddisk sometimes slowly, and audio delaying sometimes. not always.
3. Sometimes the box resetting itself, I couldn't find why it is resetting

For 1) you can restart the device after installing your apps.
File managers like MiXplorer can then install an app immediately from USB without caching it first to disk.
For 2) you can use RKMC and set auto-frame-rate switching on and in RKMC/Kodi you can use an advancessettings.xml file to cache to RAM.

did you received the PM and downloaded the .zip , please confirm , the File was a little bit to big

to upload it in PM . Box runs good but maybe this can help to make the RAM usage better , please

read Post 1814 from Xammytech , he deodexed and zipaligned his Roms . But u know i am no Dev . .

the Rom was Fully flashed ??? please look in Settings if the UpdateFunction is set to off .

If i press on it my UT4 it says "Settings has stopped" more not , i only got similar with

two Games the Message "App wont react" pops up . Maybe you can stop it when you

uninstall the "SystemUpdateApp" , but you need Root . greetings / gefattern

answer that ,

my Problem is that the "recentApps" even after a full Power Off ,

are still the same after i Power up again ,

that is for sure not correct . It looks like my Box is always ON

even after Power Off .

For better Performance you can change some CPU values with

an CPU App from Store or a Kerneleditor . greetings / gefattern

You can check
Short press power buttion for sleep/standby or
long press power button to show menu sleep, restart or power off.
I didn't change anything for the remote or power settings in v1.5 firmware.

The recent apps:
Apps running in the background are stored in RAM.
When you completely power off and not sleep then RAM content is cleared just like on a PC.
The recent apps you see are just shortcuts saved for the last frequently used apps.
So the apps aren't running in the background.
You can open say 10 apps and then use a memory app to test the free RAM and then completely turn off and test the free RAM usage again, it will show much more free memorysince the apps aren't running in the background.

okay i shall test it , but why the same Apps that i used before , i Power Off , still to see in the "recentApps" after i Power On ,

if the RAM content is cleared just like on a Pc ??? ,

they could not be there directly after the Device is back on and nothing done . That is the STRANGE Thing for me , so for me

it looks like the Device is never really powered off even after i powered it off .

For the problem one I tried but it is impossible to uninstall them, It puts me every time an error message. For problem number 2 it does not work, Even in short pressure While with the 1.4 It worked right, away you have to know that my remote control works with the USB port.

the values for booting up from Remote are made for StockRemote not for AirMouse or similar ,

it only works on my Device with StockRemote with my cheap AirMouse it does not work .

So you have to use the StockRemote for it .

If you have root you must go to Fileexplorer /System/App/there you find the RKUpdateService.apk

inside a Folder , you can delete the Folder and good after that reboot , wipe cache & Dalvikache ,

Reboot again wait , and all is good . greetings / gefattern

u are right the Usage of RAM is really lower after new Boot , but why the same recentApps are still there .

If i press on one of them it opens new , so maybe a bug in the specific App ??? I dont know , but the rest

of the Rom really runs good . greetings / gefattern
