I created account just to let you all know, I tried this on: MXQ Plus S905 1/8GB (not Pro 4K p201), and it works!

I had libreelec installed on that box previously, but I wanted the ability to use Steam Link Beta, Twitch, etc... next to Kodi, so now I can do all that.

Downside is: IR Remote control that comes with it no longer works. However USB WiFi remote control does, so does USB Mouse/Keyboard (also USB WiFi).

WiFi connectivity also works without any issues.

[EDIT]: Managed to get the IR remote control working. So if anyone is interested and has the same device, here's the ug_remote.conf file (attached, don't forget to remove the .txt suffix, place it into: system/etc directory).

First I would like to report my experience!
ROM works like described on my MXQ Plus 4K. But Remote didn't worked until Milan Petrovic posted the hotfix: https://forum.freaktab.com/forum/tv-...176#post750176 So I recommend including that hotfix in next update

Also I have no Wi-Fi, system says I don't have any MAC address, here's my MXQ box specs:

Motherboard: S905_BOX_REV2.0 2015-08-27

Wi-Fi chip: RTL8189ETV F714M31 0F36
