Anyone managed to get Eurosport player to work with this firmware? Current 6.0.2 doesn't even start. 3-series did work sideloaded just fine, but those do not work anymore.

Hi, I have installed the version 2.5 on my MXQ Plus box, the box loaded ok other things also looks fine but Wifi is not working. have tried to re-image the box again with force erase but still the same issue. can any one please help me in this.

cOOLio could I ask you a question please does your firmware support TeamViewer only reason I ask is I'm thinking of buying the MXQ Pro 4K for my cousin who lives in Thailand and he just about knows how to use kodi and certain addons but as we all know sometimes addons stop working and he's not really a tech savvy guy so it would be easier if I can just take control of his box to fix any problems he may have.

flashed with a sd card could not get cable to work
from these instructions
changed the img file name to upgrade.img edited the ini file with notepad ++ and change the filename inside to upgrade.img
then pop sd card in and boot via pressing button inside av hole

confirmed working on a xgoddy s905 mxqpro 4K
with board number (have to open up) 905mxq_20160524_v1 2

Anyone had any luck with using Teamviewer on this box with cOOLio firmware or the stock firmware, only reason i ask is im planning on buying this box for a family member in Thailand and the box he has now which is a Sunvell T95X wont let me take control of it. any help would be appreciated, Thanks

I would spend a little more. I bought a h96+ pro 4k with Android 7 . Lots faster and I run TeamViewer on it. Ready to log in any time. No issues
box is at mums. She calls me I fix it over intertubes

martymoose Thanks for the info and the box you have suggested is great my friend recently got one to go with his 4K TV think i might get one myself soon.

Reason i wanted to buy the MXQ PRO 4K is that i have £21 in my GB Wallet on gearbest which i got for nothing haha and this box cost just under £21, My cousin doesn't really need anything fast or fancy he can just about can work Kodi which is what he only uses his android box for at the moment.

could you or anyone recommend another box around £20+ mark that supports Team viewer please if not no worries.

Strange thing I notice today is there is no way to boot into flash mode. I was running Libreelec form an SD card and was able to boot to TWRP from SD card by toothpick way, but that doesn't work anymore. Not sure if when there is an update to this ROM I will be able to upgrade cause with toothpick trick just go to full boot up.

You can go to terminal emulator and write ''reboot update" it works for me for TWRP

Thanks Coolio for great rom. It's smoth,fast and everything works fine I have only 1 issue with blue led light it wont turn of even when BOX is on sleep mode is it normal for this rom or is there any way i can fix this?.And i have MXQ PRO 4K p201.

thanks for this rom, I installed it on a box MX Plus Amlogic S905 Quad Core 1G 8G with a chipset WiFi Chip: RTL8723 (the wifi works)

It's smoth, fast,

a negative point the remote control of origin no longer works with this rom.

I have the impression to have a new box :-)
