its just this exact rom but based on latest stock firmware (2171221) from vorke

It is better to put the V8 on top of the 705 or better the 707

I have read through the latest 40 pages, but cannot find anything about the (chrome) casting.

Is this functionality going to be added or is it technically just not possible? Would love to combine my Chromecast and Raspberry pi into one device.

Without been certified by google its not legally possible.

Airscreen is a great alternative, its free, but limited per day. and they are milking it if you want the limits removed, asking for daily/monthly/yearly subscriptions...
I mean who would even do that.. end up paying more than a certified device in long run.

All quick launch buttons on GT1 remote now working on vorke z6 firmware, plus a few extra KeyCode (App Draw & Youtube)

This is now done with hard coded KeyCodes rather than ScanCodes so other remotes can easily use these by editing their .kl text file.

Can all be launched from a remote, these can also be changed (if you know what your doing) its all in PhoneWindowManager.smali

Sorry for the question. There is some estimated date for V9. It's about waiting for me and not putting the V8 if V9 comes out soon.

put this script and recovery on internal storage, open terminal app

got there in the end, did as above and got back to stock 707 using usb burning tool and then back to your v8.

And how is it different than Magendanz's Android TV Rom? I read in his thread about issues with dts 5.1 (particularly in plex). Does the Dolby Digital and dts 5.1 work well with this ROM - I will be using Kodi as well as Plex. Thank you!

Based on diff firmware, I don't use any of the above so you would have to just to try and tell me, v9 has kodi fixes so I would wait and try that over v8
