Have you tried the "AirScreen" app?
In Nano ROM it works great for me

Guest Thank you for the Android TV ROM, support version 3/32 or only 2/16?

The device trees are in there for both configs, and the bootloader should detect the correct one at runtime.

Guest , I couldn't install your new ROM, the one based on shiningworth, it told me that this ROM is for amlogic q20 board only. Is it not suitable for my m8s pro 3/32?

You're failing the environment check in the OTA update script. I need to update that so it will accept a ro.product.board of "q201" or "q20x". In the interim, you can try the burn package with USB Burning Tool.

Here's another revision of our little experiment building Nexus TVStock for the M8S PRO on the Shiningworth All-in-One firmware:

            Burn Package: Nexus_M8S_TVStock_NHG47L-20180202.img
            OTA Update: update_Nexus_M8S_TVStock_NHG47L-20180202.zip

            This has the following fixes:

            - Fixed OTA update script to accept a ro.product.board of "q201" or "q20x".
            - New build of Mali driver that supports OpenGL 3.2 + AEP
            - New Bluetooth libraries that seem to fix the audio stuttering problem on the Longsys LTM8830.

I'm still seeing intermittent wireless issues, but I think we're getting pretty close. Anyone spot any other problems?

Donno, but i had to play around with avram_net for my broadcom based tablet as of recent, because of new Google play services causing wifi drop off issues. Found through comparing nvram_net.... developer version (world compatible), my stock tablet (has dual settings remarked out) , and a Samsung phone based on the same hardware... that gain, noise floor, channel and band shaping, all came into play on how well it played on my router and kept speeds stable after sleep mode.

It was a bugger, learning a few broadcom settings that I still have a vague understanding on, but made my weak tablet boost speeds up to 20% on weak 5Ghz signals. My google created drop offs are less prone, and yet to notice them for now.

Many thanks Magendanz, it works perfectly as expected for me !!!

Finally the problem with bluetooth audio transmission was run! This means the following:

My M8S Pro has a Wi-Fi LTM8830 chip, as you mentioned earlier that the chip on my device could be different.

What I find very cool in this firmware:

                  • Access to Status Bar and Notifications ✓
                  • Access to Power Menu in the Leanback Launcher ✓
                  • Possibility of Deep Sleep or something similar ✓
                  • Many other features that I still do not know how to use. ✓

                  Suggestions for the next updates:

                  • Keep the YouTube app running in the background without being completely closed:

                  - Whenever minimized the app closes completely, but previously in last year's build for Vorke Z6 it was possible to minimize and continue playing in the Leanback Launcher. It was also possible to access the recent apps and back to the point where it was previously.

                  • Correction in the sound options to avoid disconnection in the Bluetooth transmission:

                  - In Sound Options> How the sound echoes> HDMI Mode; In this option when the volume is reduced to the maximum the bluetooth app disconnects and it becomes impossible to maintain the connection until the device is the sound box to be restarted.

                  • Add the AirScreen app as default for ChromeCast or Miracast screen mirroring:

                  - Although we do not know the reason, the Google ScreenCast app does not work, so it would be interesting to remove this app and put the AirScreen app as the default as it does in the OEM firmware of Vorke Z6.

I think that's it, I'm very excited about this update, so I'm sorry if my suggestions are inappropriate

On the YouTube background behavior, was that by any chance the old version that wasn't based on WebView?

Thank you, again and as always, for your work!

The M8S Pro with the 'bonus' Wideline L1 still lose that 'bonus'?

Just mount the System partition and delete /system/priv-app/SetupWraith in TWRP.

I'm sure it's possible, since I can get a quick screenshot by hitting the PrtScn key on my keyboard, but I've never mapped it to a key in my remote before. Can any else help out Novato?

i'm sorry but I couldn't understand well what you wrote ... but I will try to explain better. in their builds ATV more recent for both m8s pro how to vorke z6, the app YouTube not keeps running in the background. this sometimes is annoying because and different from the smartphone you can minimize and then back to the same point. there are makes some time that the app has behaved this Dorma, but when tested for the first time a build ATV for vorke z6 (if I don't mistake was build ATV September) and saw the app working perfectly I was very happy, but as soon as you launched the new build 19/01/18 JA not was much as possible keep the app playing in the background in leanback.
