Thanks for these ROMs, they really are the best custom (and not only!) ROMs I've ever came across on any device.
I'd like to ask, does the new (20180310) rom support auto-framerate, like the siningworth-based one does?
Because that works perfectly, at least with players that support Amcodec (eg spmc), and it really is a mandatory feature for me.

No, that feature doesn't seem to be supported in the VideoStrong ROMs. The Shiningworth version that I posted here earlier has it, but that doesn't have Widevine L1 support.

I hear that the final Amlogic SDK 8.0 is due to be released soon. As soon as OEM switch over to that, we'll be able to release custom ROMs based on Oreo. What seems odd to me is that the S912 doesn't seem to be supported in the new SDK. http://openlinux.amlogic.com/Android/Mbox

i have install this rom version 20171116, how to update to new rom.
in Settings->About->System Update i cant find rom, or i need to download ota rom and install with TWRP.
and do i need to wipe data when install.

how to enter in TWRP.

Great Job Guest ! I wanted to thank you for always doing this perfect job! I tried to install the update on the Shiningworth version and installation was approached by TWRP but then I thought maybe it would be better this way. I love the Shiningworth version because it contains fewer bugs and have a few more options. Although it does not have L1, which makes no difference in my TV Box then I would ask if possible for you to keep updating the two versions, VideoStrong and Shiningworth. It would be great to have both options always in the most recent compositions.

hello, before anything, many thanks for your work. i flash the last rom and works fine, but i have an air mouse 2.4ghz usb. it works well but it doesnt turn on the box (seems to be related with the IR component). someone has experience this and know how to fix? thanks

There is no fix for this. You need IR remote to turn the box on.

Now, being my M8S Pro one of those that has the widevine L1... Can I update to this version? Widevine L1 will stand and my Netflix will play in HD?

Same here. The power button was present on the Feb. release (my first TV box flashing experience, actually).
Other differences:
1. There is no status bar with notifications any longer.
2. The Russian system language is really bad (wrong spelling and grammar). Not sure about other languages except the "default" English.
