I don't know which version of the PRO that you want. The newer versions of the box, come with the Leanback launcher, the older ones come with their own launcher. Either way, go to this link from the first post and pick which version you want. Download the ZIP file and DON'T unzip it, copy it to a microSD card or Pen Drive the put it into your box. Go to your Android and install a terminal emulator if you don't already have one installed. Open the terminal emulator and type "reboot update", that will boot into TWRP, select the ZIP file you have on your pen drive or microSD card and install. You now will boot into the version you chose......

        Hi Clarkss12,

I just want to reinstall the same firmware like When I received it from the reseller.

I don't know the name of the firmware but on the video link you can see, at the beginning of the video the version that I want.

Let me ask you a question. Did this Android TV firmware present on your TV Box automatically receive an update from OTA or did you download the Android TV firmware here in the forum and did the manual process? Send me a picture of your device's box to avoid future problems.

Videostrong has changed from that original launcher to the one that you are showing on the newer versions. What you need to is try an older version that is listed on the first post. For instance try this one.... Same procedure to install for the ZIP file. I don't recall what
              Changelog (20171116):
              • Updated to latest M8S Pro L OEM firmware (20171109.180937.V0928)
              • Added additional option (Reboot & Sleep) to global action menu that displays when you press and hold the Power button.
              • Latest build from Open GApps (20171116)
Since that video was made in August 2017,,,,, give this version a try also.

              Changelog (20170825):
              • Updated to latest M8S Pro OEM firmware (20170801.150811.V0321)
              • Underlying OEM firmware is now pre-rooted, and so ours is too
              • Latest build from Open GApps (20170825)
              Changelog (20170807):
              MK818B, T428, ATV 1220, CS918S, TV01, S89H, R89, ADT-1, MK808B Plus, MINIX X8-H Plus, Tronsmart Orion R68

Try that version from August 1 that I linked and see how it works.. I noticed that the first listing I showed you said "L", but as I recall, he modded the "L" firmware to work on the PRO box.

Be careful not to flash on a wrong firmware. If what you want is the Mecool Stock Firmware as shown in the video above, just install the most rexerec firmware for the M8S Pro distributed by GeekBuyng in September last year. You must use the USB flash tool for PC Burning Tool or Burn the firmware on your memory card using the Burn Card Maker tool. Or choose the firmware in zip to SD but never used this method, I do not know if and only install by TWRP. Particularly I always prefer to pass the firmware from scratch, using the SD Burner Card Maker format and turn the SD Card Startup, I insert it into the TV Box, I turn off the power carbo, put a pellet in the hole that is below the device, cable, then the Android will appear on the screen, just release and let the process finish. Never handle the cable, never disconnect before the procedure is complete. It is. Watch videos before to learn everything.

I would also like to know if I would have an OTA update to return to stock.
From that point I wished to go back to the Stock firmware, at first it was pretty tricky, I thought I could install the firmware that it uses as the basis for ATV firmware but it can not. Just click on these arrows in my name of the quote that you will return to the conversation. There is but clear today does not live without ATV.

Surely you will. I'm not so special, but I've been reading cellulades for a few years so it's a little easier.
