In the spirit of the Pure Nexus Project, these TVStock Nexus ROMs deliver the pure Android TV experience using the Open GApps TVStock Package. The goal is to keep true to Google's vision and use the bare minimum of OEM or third-party apps or add-ons, which can be added à la carte by the user as needed, just as I've done with the Stock and Nano variants. I believe these ROMs are stable enough for general use, but don't be surprised if some features from the Nexus Player or NVIDIA Shield TV aren't fully implemented. This will be particularly true of features that require a secure platform (Widevine Level 1) for DRM requirements.

as you can see the V0928 as been release for the m8s pro L ...the last release OEM for the M8s Pro was the 20171030.162112.v0619 .

but yes i can use the whole rom name if you want. And as i didnt have dowload the rom before asking , i didn't know the exact rom file. the referrence to each version of the box let me confused. even if the topic name is [ROM] Mecool M8S Pro TVStock Nexus ROM (Android TV 7.1)

Yes, the name is M8S Pro L, but this is a ROM for Mecool M8S Pro!
And not for another box!
Read carefully the whole p. 30 of the forum!

Here is the latest OEM Stock firmware for your (our) device in stock.img format, with this ROM you return to last M8S Pro factory firmware in IMG format (20170817.103347.V0321).

Regarding the ATV firmware it is based on the M8S Pro L (20171208.110230.V0928) Firmware Stock, but as far as I know the latter is not compatible with our M8S Pro.

If it were possible to install the M8S Pro L Firmware on the M8S Pro, it would be great. Mecool stopped the support for the M8S Pro. Then we could obter the latest firmware by installing the firmware Pro L.

I have been installed this ROM on my Mecool M8S Pro and everyone can see the result on my post on p. 30.
And as everyone can see, reading your previous posts, you have been installed this ROM too.
What are you talking about now is full nonsense!

When I posted here it was to prevent the other user from installing the M8S Pro L stock firmware on page 1 where Magendanz does the Update report, ie the firmware changelog, as you can see below there is a stock firmware link of the M8S Pro L, used as the basis for the ATV firmware. This stock firmware has different bootloader information, so it should not be used in the M8S Pro Model we have:
