I ask because I can't get normal video playback on this rom in kodi 17.4 only when disabling hardware acceleration.

With android 6.0 rom I was using "Paragon UFSD root mounter" application to mount USB NTFS hard drive but now with android 7.0 it don't work.

do someone have this problem ? or someone have other solution to mount ntfs hard drive with this rom ?

hey awesome rom got gt1 s912 had to complete initial setup with lan cable not wifi wouldn't stay connected during setup would after setup done tho . is assistant on this rom enabled i thought long press on home would bring it up ?

edit : going to go back to android 6 rom no usb sd access in kodi other wise like rom will try again when more stable an usb sd access

We have a fix for that, I believe. Just comment out #persist.fw.force_adoptable=true in the build.prop. I'll be integrating this change in the next update, but there's no reason you can't do it yourself now.

how can I install root on this firmware? EDIT: found it... all ok now.

but the system is horrible instable. kodi runs 2 mins, then app crash. teamviewer runs a few mins, app crash, smb server runs a few mins, app crash....

It's already factory rooted. (Try typing "su" in Terminal.) If you want to control superuser grant permission, though, install SuperSU.

how to change the dpi screen in your firmware? after editing build.prop (put the value 240 instead of 213), the tvbox does not load

You should check the file permissions on the build.prop file. A "chmod 644 build.prop" in Terminal may fix your problem.

I have a GT1 ultimate connected to a Yamaha AV receiver and a would like to know if with this ROM it is possible to configure HDMI audio output to "passthrough" so the AV receiver can process audio data itself (Dolby, DTS,...).

Well, you'd have to find another launcher for Android TV, and I'm not aware of any. If you switch to the non-ATV variants (Nano or Stock), there are many 3rd-party launchers available.

Yes, you can install an alternative launcher but with Android TV, you have to use adb command (https://www.techhive.com/article/314...to-fix-it.html) or use the apk HomeSwitcher. Personnaly, I used the apk and my current launcher is TVLauncher.

And I have an issue
When it wakes up from sleep mode, wired network doesn't work.
wifi works good.

i have flashed OTA already.
is there any solution?

Not yet. I'm hoping that issue is resolved when Tanix releases the final TX8 Max firmware. Right now it's a beta release.

GT1 official firm has same issue.

They're likely using the same WiFi drivers, but I suppose it could be a hardware issue. That would be much tougher to fix.
