      Well, I haven't had any sudden freezing since upgrading, but I'm guessing that's probably an overheating issue.

    Dear Magendanz how install last ota if I am on 619 tv android rom? No clue yet...

      You need to install it in TWRP recovery. From Terminal app (enabled in Developer Options), type "reboot recovery", hit Install, pick .zip file, and swipe to install. If Developer Options isn't enabled, you need to click Build number in Settings->About 7 times.

      Note: I'm working on my own Update app that will also include a button to reboot to recovery.

      TWRP recovery gets installed with my Nexus custom ROMs. If you're on the OEM firmware, then just install via the Update app.

    I type it reboot recovery in terminal and after reboot nexus logo and black screen nothing happen....you can put an app in your rom to be like original one to be possible to chose a zip inside a rom ,and be automatically installed pls

    I tried also with different apps to reboot in recovery but nothing just reboot in system ,so I believe twrp is not inside your rom.....

      From the latest OEM firmware, I just ran the Update app and selected "update_M8S_PRO_L-V0928_TVStock-20171115.zip" with a Data Wipe. It rebooted to the stock recovery for the install, erased the user data partition, and returned to the custom Android TV system. After running through the setup wizard, I opened Terminal and typed "reboot recovery"...and it rebooted to TWRP 3.1.1-0. So, I'm pretty confident that TWRP is inside my update.

    Now I have installed the new non-ATV ROM variant.

    I'll try now this new ATV Rom variant.

    To install it, after reboot recovery, should I also choose to data wipe or just install?

      So a tutorial will be more helpfull for everybody! So I must flash OEM firmware 20171115 and after that your "update_M8S_PRO_L-V0928_TVStock-20171115.zip",cause in this moment I don t have recovery in your first TV STOCK 619 rom. What is the solution?

        Easy just download his latest of a put on usb or as card. Start box. Go to update program select local update. Click update. Box will reboot install the update reboot. Your done. Could not be any simpler

          I make it first this step but I don t have option local update cause I am in 619 TV rom! Also I don t have neather recovery!

            It same program in apks as in the other builds that has not changed. Updated is in that build as well. The update to the other firmware if you want to go that route is usb burning tool and male to male usb

              I dont have any Updater app like in official firmware ,I am in first version TV nexus 619,in this version I have in about device an option for update who is just online, and IF i WANT TO go in recovery nothing !

                I am sure his last firmware also have recovery even stock. So if your stuck flash the stock via burning tool.

                    Guest please help with this doubt: I want to install latest Nexus ATV ROM over my current ROM (latest non-ATV Nexus ROM).

                    Should I choose data wipe or just install the new file?

                      Yes, it's generally prudent to do a data wipe when moving between non-ATV and ATV variants.

                    IM currently running latest ATV rom from you, If I want to roll back to original mecool rom. Should I just flash it in twrp?
