Bluetooth would be nice - something that is sorely lacking on this tablet. I wish they had left off the second camera and added bluetooth instead.

ok, so after a wipe/wipe/reflash x2
i tried a couple different things.
using my usb 3.0 port/s the tablet will 3% to full in just around 35 minutes.
using usb 2.0 port/s the tablet takes over an hour to 3% to full charge.
@ 50% battery i plugged the wall charger into the tablet, and gave it about an hour.
after the hour of "charging" i unplugged the tablet, only to see the red exclamation mark on battery, after which it immediately died.
only after plugging it back into my usb 3.0 port and letting it set for around 20 minutes, could i get the tablet to turn back on.
now it has been setting in sleep mode for around 2 hours, and as long as it is plugged in, it run fine, but the moment i unplug it, the battery runs at 0%
any other ideas?

Originally posted by Rabid1 View Postso it is only doing this after the charger is used, or all the time now. If the battery IS charging off USB and holding when disconnected, but draining off the charger and not holding when uplugged after being charged for awhile then you might have a faulty charger. IF wiping the system or flashing a new ROM does not fix the problem I would try a new charger.

alright.
its holding a charge as long as i don't let the wall charger near it.
so i was wondering, do i still need to do another ROM flash, or should i just trash this wall charger and be happy with the usb?
also would you recommend me go with the newest ROM or the one i originally had flashed on it?
i ask cause if the newest ROM is in any way better, then i would want to use it while the Tablet is still a blank slate.

I've actually already installed the stock Tom from nov and re-rooted everything. Seems to be working well. I understand about school work and life especially this time of year. And apparently need to tweak this keyboard as it is giving me a headache with its auto correct feature not working or its inability to keep the cursor in the same place.Last edited by Micheal; 23 November 2013, 07:29.

You flashed the tablet with the wrong rom you sound like you have a Next8P12 not a NX008HD8G
Take out the sdcard format it and put your stock rom zip onto it. Reinsert it and press power and VOLUME UP at the same time untill you see the first boot screen. Then release the power button but keep volume pressed until you hit the recovery screen. This can take a few seconds so be patient. At the recovery screen use the volume up and down to highlight menu items and the power button to select them. Choose the install from EXT option. Select your rom and follow your on screen instructions.
If that fails you will need
ADB
Drivers for your device
A copy of your stock rom {look for Next8P12 drivers and rom}
Basic knowledge of how to use adb
All is not lost, if your pc can see the device there is hope. You will need to use adb to reformat the tablet and then push the stock rom to it. Make absolutley sure you have drivers and rom that match your device. Your problem may have arisen from the fact that you do not have an nx008HD8G you have a Next8P12. By flashing the wrong rom you have given the device fits. As a general warning you must always know exactly what you have for a device. System architecture can vary wildly even within the same family of devices.Last edited by Micheal; 26 November 2013, 01:19.
